Wow. Good luck with this challenge. I used to love Agatha Christie when I was a teenager. Not read any for many years. They can be pretty addictive!!
We'll be hiring you as a private detective once you've read that lot!

What a great challenge, that is an awful lot of Agatha Christie books - I think I own 3, but have read more. Not sure I could read that many without breaking it up
I've read the most of these years and years ago but thought I'd give it another go. One thing, I've only posted about half the books I have, so far! 88 Agatha Christie books on my kindle...
I realised after sorting them all out that not all 88 are novels, there are short stories as well so I am just doing the novels that I have posted earlier. Already 1 down. They are quite short books so shouldn't be too hard to get through them.
Amazon links for the books as I read them :o)The Mysterious Affair at Styles - http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Mysteriou...
The Secret Adversary (Tommy and Tuppence Book 1) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Secret-Ad...

I hope you liked Tommy & Tuppence since my cats are called after them!
The Big Four - http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Big-Four-...The Mystery of the Blue Train - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mystery-Blue-...
Well done. I liked the Seven Dials mystery, but it is years since I've read it. Must read some more Christie myself..
I enjoyed The Seven Dials Mystery, but not read the other two. I have read one Agatha Christie this year, would like to read more.
I think the Big Four has been my favourite so far. It's the first Miss Marple one next I'm hoping it'll be better than my preconception of a fussy meddlesome old woman.
If you haven't already been there, Jud, I recommend visiting Greenway, Agatha Christie's home, now owned by the National Trust (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/green...)It is still full of her possessions and gives real insight into the woman behind the books. It's fascinating - and the gardens on the bank of the River Dart are beautiful.
Oh that looks good BJ! Not sure ?I can convince hubby to take me there will have to work on my pal who lives in Southampton!
I'm sure you can talk him into anything. Make a weekend of it. On the other day you could visit Coleton Fishacre, also owned by the NT (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/colet...).It's only a few minutes drive from Greenway. It was the holiday home of the D'Oyly Carte family who introduced Gilbert to Sullivan and staged the light operas. Stunning gardens in a valley running down to the sea.
Us poor locals need you folk from up-country to come down here and spend your cash.
I really want to start holidaying more around the UK I'm trying to talk hubby around but he likes to relax in the sun

Shhhhhh! I'm sure that we have europe's weather by mistake - keep quiet unless they want it back!
Oh, while I was typing that comment I heard a yellow weather warning for rain this afternoon. Back to normal then..

Don't blame him at all. But some weekend breaks between the main holidays can brighten life up a lot, whatever the weather.
Yea, I'd like to start doing that more, have mentioned to him about joining National Trust for a year then we can pick places we would like to see and make a wee weekend out of it
Wow just seen this challenge. I love the screen adaptations, although with Marple I spend a lot of time being really confused:)I have a couple to read on my kindle, maybe I should join you:)
