Lorena Bathey (lorenabathey) | 13 comments I gotta say The Night Circus
It was so original and amazing.
I am hoping they don't try to make a movie out of it.

I also really liked Gone Girl

Lorena Bathey (lorenabathey) | 13 comments Nicole wrote: "Gimmie a break I read 300 books this year, lol"

OMG...that's amazing. I am trying to read 100 this year. I find that sometimes since I write novels that I go through bursts of not wanting to read. And I love words but I think when you are writing plot, characters and such I just get a bit worn out. Which is weird because I've always been a voracious reader. So..pushing myself this year.

message 16: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleyc29) These were my favourites, but at the same time it was hard to choose.

Life of Pi (Illustrated) Deluxe Illustrated Edition by Yann Martel Ready Player One by Ernest Cline The Fault in Our Stars by John Green The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness Enclave (Razorland, #1) by Ann Aguirre The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) by Jessica Sorensen

I didn't even keep a good record of what I read throughout much of 2012. >.<

Some of my fave reads though were:
The UnTied Kingdom by Kate Johnson _ Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi _ Enclave (Razorland, #1) by Ann Aguirre _ Outpost (Razorland, #2) by Ann Aguirre _ Royal Street (Sentinels of New Orleans, #1) by Suzanne Johnson

I'm sure there are more, but these were the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

I had a lot of very mediocre reads last year. :( Hopefully it'll be better in 2013!

message 18: by Jeshu (new)

Jeshu (jeshusauria) The Last Wish (The Witcher) by Andrzej Sapkowski and the whole saga of The Witcher were definitely my favourites!
Stardust by Neil Gaiman The UnTied Kingdom by Kate Johnson
