im still in book 3 and i love frost that might change as i read the rest of the books

It was a tie between Frost & Galen for a long time but the more I re-read these books the more obsessed I have become with Frost, so I guess he wins! Doyle is pretty amazing too in his own way. :)

have you finished reading the whole series?

I have, twice! hee hee...the last one was my least favorite but I still love the series. I think the Anita Blake books are better but all her books are pretty darn awesome! :)

i have heard many good things from the anita blake series i might just try it , im on book 4
when the queen is finally seeing Cel for what he is, im just happy that i still have more to come is book 8 the last one?

im still preferring frost because he was so arrogant and now he is just so in love he doesn't care who See's it '''swoon..........who doesn't want somebody like that tough when it counts but so lovable

i have a crazy aversion to snakes you just wont believe so sholto was out for me because i just cant get over the stomach thing,usla maybe nicca is out now but mistral and doyle and galen will do

From the comments it seems that only ladies have read these books, I aint a lady and I enjoyed em (when the story was actually developing and not just steamy sex, this could have been done in 4 books if the sex scenes had been reduced in number and duration).
That said Rhys is my favourite, his injury has seemed to make him more...not mature exactly but more joking and humerous as well as more serious when it's needed, He doesnt seem to let the bad times put him in a funk like the others do. Also, the others all seem to have the "badass" vibe all the time, Gawyn is an exception to this but then he is merediths age.

Frost is definitely my favorite, and Sholto is a close second! Love Merry & her men ;)

OK sholto has a tattoo now he can make them real but most of the time its a tattoo but she is in love with frost and Doyle but im still confuse i just started book 8 and i don't remember if all the guards left with her to California or just the dads of her babies ?

and that comments my cue to leave :), haven't read the rest of the books yet

you know most of the names of the books tittles where misleading i was expecting each book to be about the person they where hinting about and in the end they were in the story but not the main part of it

its because when frost first came in the picture he was so distant and he just needed somebody to love him ,merry was just the person because she didnt have an agenda like everybody else he knew ,plus after how he came to become fairy he really needed a break and when he got it he show just how much he has in him to give and love,and he sacrifice himself for her what else can merry ask for

True my wife and I really enjoyed the series and are awaiting the next book. At the end of the day it comes down to who you relate too. I had just returned from Iraq and I did not trust anyone. My wife was the person that recognized me as Frost. The other one I relate to is Mistral. But I also am a fan of the Goblin Twins. Just because of who they are similar to the brothers in Anita Blake.

My favorite is Frost :) Doyle is a good 2nd and I think Rhys is freaking hilarious.

Frost is my favourite with Mistral and Doyle not far behind in the big bad man vibe that they have going and Sholto well gross bits or not we all have flaws but Rhys just makes my laugh, I have a small love for the Goblin twins Ash and Holly so need more of them in my life poor glen just wanna be mates with. All in all laurell has made me fall for nearly each of them so let' hope she get's writing as i am really missing them.

when i was done with the books i still loved frost ,because he was the one that really told her how he felt with the rest we knew they loved her but there were not very expressive about it although sacrificing themselves for her was enough

Doyle, then Galen, I love Kitto, but he is not a guard, and I can't say more with out a spoiler because people are still reading, Frost I love too but he is such a moody pissy man. Rhys too.. I am wondering if/how they will bring the Grey man back in. Her job was so important, then they helped her big time. I am waiting for the Giant guy- the one from the agency who had the tusks, I hope they bring him back to fairy, also Maeve Reed......

#1 is Doyle and #2 is Galen.

Rhys and Doyle .. but i also like galen. I read Anita blake's books first but love how different this series is and keeps me wondering what will happen.
