Anyway, I thought Midnight was a girl at first, but then he spoke and I was like,"Oh, shiz!! That's a guy?!!!?!"

Yeah. Anime always leads me away from the real gender of the character, somehow... >_>

Yeah, his second appearance was much better! It was much clearer to tell the difference from girl to boy. And no, I haven't heard of it before, but I get what you mean. Some anime characters are completely unintelligible to which one they truly are. It always leaves you with a sense of confusion. I hate how you can go a full anime and still not know a character's gender!

So, what was your overall impression of the first Oracion Seis, and what did you think of the second?

Well, I found the first one lacking in strength, and they were taken out far too quickly for my liking. The second, though? I have a more positive opinion about number 2. The characters in that group were stronger, and they were more dominant over FT. Like you said before, their backgrounds were more reinforced. There was less to the lacking part of it.
