Oddly this isn't a place many supernaturals come, but alot of humans can often be found here tending to the horses. While the humans are allowed to tend to the horses they are forbiddean to ride the horses without the presence of a Supernatural. It's a lovely stone structured place with all the luxuries and necessaties that could possibly be given to a horse. There are many horses and all are proud and regal and very lovely to look at. There is a strict rule about no drinking from the horses. It's terribly tiring to have to replace them...

Daniel was tending to a chestnut-colored horse who he particularly enjoyed being with. It whinnied every time he came in; he particularly enjoyed having Daniel ride him, but unfortunately these occasions were few and far between and only if one of the kind supernaturals were around. That was almost never, but at least he still had the sliver of a chance. He wasn't scared of the mystical beings like the others who quivered in their boots. They were just like him... but a bit more... magically delicious or something.
Clementine's worn shoes flattened the grass beneath her, aimlessly wandering the outside of the wooden stables. She glanced inside several times to peek at the magnificent horses, their manes laying over their neck and their nose high and they made sounds to greet Clementine's presence.
He finished tending to the horse and left the barn, trying to be as silent as possible so as not to draw the attention of anyone nearby. He turned around after closing the door and noticed a girl wandering around aimlessly. His eyes widened as he was unsure whether or not she was one of them or not. He tried to stay quiet so she might not see him.
Clementine heard the creak of a closing door, half-turning her head. She spotted the figure of a masculine type in the corner of her eyes, fully turning her body to face him. She hadn't exactly known him, being she didn't often take interest in other Humans aside those she'd have to interact with. His name didn't immediately came to mind, something like Dylan, or Daniel. Yeah, Daniel. And then his surname... Hawk or whatever. Or, or.... Fawkes. Something like that. She stared at his shocked form, his eyes wide and all. But Clementine peek any theeatening moves toward him, her deadly calm gaze unwavering at the sight of him.
She didn't move and he checked for signs of supernaturals. Reflections, shadows... everything seemed to check out. She was human. His eyes stopped their widening, but his muscles were still twitching with reflexes just in case. You could never be too careful with humans or supernaturals. He didn't know her name as far as he knew, but for some reason the scent of citrus fruits came to mind - not that there were many of those left in the world. She was calm... too calm. It was eerie and creepy in a way. And enticing. He mentally shook his head. Focus. FOCUS!
Clementine felt the air around them relax some, as she noted that the other Human's eyes reduced from wide. And so they just stood there, watching the other in case something happened. Things like this bugged Clementine; She didn't remember her history anymore, but she knew for a fact the world and all of Humanity was on the verge of collapsing. An even Human's, with their own race cowering in fear of the Supernatural's and the castles, couldn't fully trust eachother right away. It was strange and odd, and Clementine couldn't make sense of it. But what was she to say, when it's as though she was born right into the castle as a teenager, ridden of her past that she will never remember? She nodded a silent greeting, and proceeded toward the bale of horse food to feed the animals, one of the few things she could actually do without having been ordered to do by the Supernaturals.
Daniel watched her as she moved, her hips swaying back and forth like a metronome or pendulum or-he cut his thoughts off. Human feelings like these had to be controlled or taken off by excision or amputation. Yes, he had to control these evil thoughts.
If he had to be honest though, they weren't evil... not even bad for the most part. But if the supernaturals knew his feelings for or from anyone, they'd use it against him to bend him to their will even more. Psychologically chain him to them.
No, he wouldn't give them for tinder for the fire. He would remain aloof. He took a few steps away, but then stopped and took a last look back...
or should I defy them to show I have my own thoughts...
Clementine strut over to a horse, one that had the color of a raven's feathes. The creature stood by it's food tray-thing, something or other. She bent down and poured some food into the wooden tray, and the horse snorted, diving it's sleek black nose into the food. As Clem stood upright again, she tossed the empty bag over the ground in a casual and careless way. She kicked it to the trash can, but left it on the ground in a silent way of mocking the Supernaturals.
Daniel let a tiny smile out at this small piece of supernatural mockery. Perhaps she wasn't so broken in as he might've first thought of her. Oh well, they'd get inside of her sooner or later and all that'd be left would be a shell of her former self. It was sad really, but it was the truth. He had seen it happen over and over again to girls just like her. He sighed and turned around to go. This time he kept walking.
Clementine looked back at the horses again and turned. She saw the boy leave. She watched him go, and soon followed, heading to somewhere random. She ran a finger over the scar behind her ear, wondering where it had come from. She wondered about everything she was. What her family was, her life before the Castle, how she was brought to the castle. And continued on.
