Beautiful Chaos discussion

OK my question is "Why did Abraham want Lena to chose to be dark if he doesn't even like castors in the first place and going to kill them later?" I think that was the only major event I forgot from the series...maybe :)

If my memeory serves me right, there was something in the first book, Beautiful Creatures, about it. If Lena chose Light then all Dark Castors, including incubus would die. If Lena chose Dark same thing would happen to the Light Castors. Thats why when she chose between Light and Dark in book 2, one of her aunts (Twyla, after researching) died and Larkin her Dark Castor cousin.

It wasn't all Casters, just the ones in her family. She chooses light, all the dark ones went down, which we can assume meant Abraham as well. But, when she choose other, one of each died.
