I've actually got a question for you guys: Who is your favorite character in the neurotic hitwoman's world??

I love them all, but really my favorite character has to be Maggie. She's struggling against some impossible circumstances, but she's holding it together and forging ahead. And she comes off so real to me, she could be someone I know or would like to know.

My fave person is Maggie for her strength and sarcasm. My fave animal is God! He is really equal with Mags. Love them!

B.E. -- Maggie certainly does have it tough. If you could meet her what would you like to do with her? Grab a cup of coffee? Eat some chocolate pudding? Go for a walk (with or without her dog?)? Kill somebody??

Oh, we'd definitely do coffee. Then we'd play with Doomsday. I could have her translate so I could talk with Godzilla. We could dish about people. And finish up with a little commiseration over more coffee with a little Irish cream. ;o)

Maggie is certainly sarcastic! God cracks me up!

Doomsday stole my heart in Further....probably because in between writing books 1 and 2 we adopted a mutt that has some of her more endearing traits. :-)

I think that's why she's my favorite. Reminds me of my Charlie boy.

When I'd first conceived of the aunts, they were going to be very minor characters, just hanging out in the background, but once I got to know them, they got more page time.

Maggie's ability to juggle everything is a a great challenge to write, lol.
