I love book trailers, I've always wanted to do at least one of my own, but I'm just not creative in that area, bravo for making your own. They're awesome

Hey Magan, I used powerpoint to create the trailer, and then used MS Moviemaker to put the video with the music. I love making trailers, they are so much fun to do.

I never would have thought to use Powerpoint. I thought they were both fantastic! Nice Work! I'm pretty sure if I want one to look that good I'll have to hire someone who will work for an atta-boy lol I'm off to add your books to my to-read list!

I had help putting the music in from Samantha Holt. She only charged me twenty five dollars because I had most of it already done. She is good with all sorts of programs. Look her up!

That is an intriguing trailer Nancy. Your friend is very talented. And the music matches the tone. Often, trailers don't have the right music to set the mood. Again, this is really good.

I'd love to make one, but I've got no idea where to start as far as arrangement and production goes. I used to make anime music videos, but this is a whole different bag. As for paying to have one made, most of the samples I've seen from book trailer services have been pretty weak. Overused stock photos, bad sound effects, unnecessary text animation, and cheesy movie trailer vibes abound. A few have been good, but buyer indeed beware, I suppose.

I use PowerPoint and Movie Maker which comes with Microsoft. And there is a website, I can't remember the name of it, that allows you to use their music free. As for photos, I get mine from Microsoft and I have a clipart program with 500,000 photos and it only cost $39.99. I also invested in a music maker program for the times when I get creative...like there's time for that these days, lol.

I have never heard of Animoto but you did a good job with the trailer. I love the way it is animated, fluid. I need to really start using only Movie Maker but, lol, it doesn't come with a tutorial.

I used a new company Doop Films for the trailer for my last novel 'the CULL' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4R6S...

They are unbelievable - real pro's who listen to what the author wants - and then go that extra mile! I'll be using them again. Check them out www.doopfilms.com - web still being prepared but you can email your ideas and they will respond quickly. Great people.

Totally creepy but it tells a good story. I liked it a lot and the music definitely adds the the feel of it.

I love looking at everyone's trailers. There are some really good dynamics. I need to learn Movie Maker better, lol.
