The idea is to make up a story. And no, it's not plagiarism if you're using mythical creatures/deities/fictional people to create a new story (unless it's still protected under copyright law, although I doubt anyone would care unless you got the story published in a major journal, magazine, etc.).
Ahhhhhh!!!! Thats the best ever!!!!!! I can totally hear it in his voice toooo ahhhhhh youre awesome and i want to read the rest!!!

He was angry again.
What it was now, Dany didn't know. It'd just been happening more often than it would normally since their arrival to this strange place. The people of the concrete kingdom called this an office building.
Dany herself was still confused by what this place. New York, she remembered it being called. If this was New York, what happened to Old York? And the people's Common Tongue was distorted and odd sounded, but still familiar. They often stared at her and Viserys as they walked the streets with the common folk, gaping and gwaking at their silvery white hair and violet shaded eyes.
Someone had once asked her if she were wearing contacts. She had no way of answering, but her brother certainly hissed out his disapproval. The confrontation that resulted was resolved by one of the City Watch.
Viserys had actually taken to this strange land, immersing himself with others of his age. He said things that made no sense to Dany, dressed in odd garments that clung to him like a second skin, and used a queer little device called a "cellphone" constantly.
Though she were the younger of the two, she seemed to act as though she was the older sibling.
Right now, Viserys was seething over what appeared to be plans for a gathering gone wrong.
"NO! NO! NO! How dare you think I want green! I said red, blood red. How did you manage to get green, you useless wench?"
He was panting with the exertion of yelling into the tiny contraption in his hand after he had slammed it shut. He glared over at a wide eyed Dany and stormed out the room. The jeans- skinny jeans, they were called- made his legs slimmer and twig like in width as he went, turning his fit into something comedic.
Dany giggled ruefully before turning away and watching what people called "television". There were moving pictures and voices coming from some source, all in a slim black glass pane. She was much impressed with the sorcerers of this place, but they were little in comparison to those of Valyria.
She sighed, but was startled as she usually was now by the loud honk of a car alarm. She looked out the window, but then back at the television.
This would take much adjusting to, but she could manage it.
Joy, SeaTheFiend, both of you had very good submissions so it pains me to have to declare this January contest as a non-qualifying one. So, I will retire this contest without picking a winner. That being said, if either of your stories fit into the requirements for a new contest feel free to use it.

Here is the theme/prompt: (Brought to you by Liz!)
Take a mythological or fictional character. Then, write about them in the modern world. What kind of job would they have? What sort of person (if they are human) would they be? Examples: a centaur jockey, Zeus as an electrician, a dragon fireman, etc.
