Wow! I am in as well! :) today makes it 10k behind... ohaa.... ;) do college papers and thesises count as well? :)
I'm about 5K behind so no worries about starting late. I'm hoping I figure out my writing groove, I'm still not sure when my best time for writing is. So far it's whenever I'm not too tired.I found a fantastic excel word tracker online: http://svenjaliv.com/category/resourc...
If you download any of hers definitely send her a thanks.
Oh, I wish I'd seen this earlier. I don't know that I'm ready to start a new one. I just finished my NaNo novel on the 31st. I did 53K during November, but still wrote almost another 30K more in December. I should probably really focus on editing the two books I wrote in 2012 before starting a third. I loathe editing though.

I'm no where near done my NaNo '12 novel and I know there is substantial restructuring to do, so I want to get a few small stories out to test the waters. That's mainly what I'm using the word count goal for.
Your December word count is awesome! I couldn't even look at my novel during that month.
I've already gotten to 10K. This is a little more fun than NaNoWriMo I have to say, since not all my books are 50K lol ;)
I would like to join... but I'm to busy since I got my new job... I hope it goes well!

I didn't feel like I could leave it until it was done, or it wouldn't happen.

I hope you get to edit soon! :D

I've talked about it on my blog (I think it's linked through my profile, I don't know), it's a challenge that was started by Sally Quillford.
Basically it started January 1, goes until April 10th and the goal is to write 100K. There's no website. No real accountability. You can break up the word count between various projects.
I'd love additional support on this challenge. My goal is to finish my NaNo 12 novel and start writing some short fiction.
