Archery
Mr. Parker walked out onto the field, he started to set all the equipment up
Jacqueline ran out to the field. "Hi Mr. Parker, sorry I'm la-" She glanced around the field. "Or maybe not as late as I thought." Jacqueline finished when she noticed she was the only one there.
"You aren't late at all Jacqueline." He said smiling, "Class hasn't started yet."
"But wasn't it... UGH!" Jacqueline messed with her hair. Taking the job at the library really screwed her up time-wise and she was always showing up at places at odd times.
Mr. Parker chuckled softly, "Don't worry Jacqueline."
"Not at all." Mr. Parker said shaking his head
Jace walked into the class, his hands pushed into the pockets of his jeans. He looked around and smiled when he noticed Jacqueline. "I hope I'm not late."
"Should?" Jacqueline laughed remembering the many times Spencer had owned a watch and each time they died she insisted it wasn't her fault.
Justin laughed and shook his head. "Actually Spence your on time." He said smiling, "Now, do any of you know anything about archery?"
Justin smirked, "Let's see if your on time tomorrow first."
Justin chuckled, "Nothing is impossible. Now enless you all want to fail, answer my question. Who knows anything about archery."
"If it was only that easier Spencer." He said shaking his head, "No you can still fail if you don't get your act together and participate."
"I'll participate but I'll also distract and be late." she laughed turning to Jacqueline. "See what I did there... it rhymes"
"Well then I hope you don't mind a D on your report card." Mr. Parker said smiling and picking up a quiver of arrows
"for the distracting?" Spencer joked then watching him pick up the arrows she jumped up and followed suit. She quickly looked at her choices and smiled finding one she liked.
"Spencer I'll make you a deal. If I can get a bulls eyes standing backward. Then you have be good in class." He said smirking
"No distractions." He said smirking
"I don't think I can promise that. But I sure would love to do your hunger games trick" Spencer said after thinking for a moment.
Mr. Parker smirked and lined up before shooting and hitting the bulls eyes never taking his eyes off Spencer
"Okay, but now you have to try to keep your grades up." He said smiling
"Well if you don't keep your grade up. You will repeat this class." He told her a smirk on his face
"No, don't pass my class. Don't pass this grade." He said smirking
"How well you do on shooting isn't all of it. Your attitude makes a difference."
Jace watched the two, trying hard not to smirk at the ensuing banter they were having. So far it had been an interesting class.
Jacqueline blinked a couple of times, watching her friend and teacher squabble. "You know, If I didn't know any better, I would think you two were related."
Mr. Parker chuckled, "Well as fun as this is, we really should start class....." He trailed off as Tiffany came out, "Well Miss, Ross. Do you have an excuse for being late?" He asked, Tiffany handed him a note then went to the back of the class, "Now see class, this is why you never have my sister as your teacher. She has an excuse for everything."
Mr. Parker put the note aside, "Now who would like to shoot first?" He asked
Mr. Parker smiled, "Okay, well than.... Jace, how about you."
