Cara has quite a past with her ability and the battle of using it. What do you think of her past and the reason she battles with her ability? And her growth of using it?

To over come her child hood fears is an amazing feat. That Talen pushes her to get past it all shows his support in saying that he excepts her for who she is and that includes her ability. That she finally excepts it and uses the boost she gets from Talen takes great courage.

Her past is absolutely horrible and I can easily see why she has reservations about using it. I love that through Talen and her love for him she is trying to push past it and learn that it isn't something "evil" or "wrong with her" it is something that can help her grow as a person in understanding herself but in also understanding and helping those around her.

It is so amazing to read along and see her grow with it. She is timid with it at first and refuses to use then towards the end she is like you know what fuck this I can do this, I was born to do this and Talen has my back no matter what. She learns the only way to become stronger is pushing past the fear :) Gotta love it!
