Camp Odin discussion

The library is a great hall with many shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with thousands of books.There are ladders at various locations around the hall, which can be moved in order to get at books that are at or near the top of the shelves. Most of the books are about Norse mythology. There is a porch facing the training area which has a few rocking chairs on it, so you can go outside to read.

"Did you want to check out a book or something?" Calder asked Lucy after they entered the library.

"No. It's just nice and quiet. "

Matilda skipped into the library smiling. She skipped over to a random bookshelf and grabbed a book.

"Okay." Calder replied. He used to spend a lot of time in the library, but he had already read a lot of the books. "What do you want to do?"

Matilda found a nice chair and sat to begin reading.

"Maybe talk about books"

"Then what's your favorite book?" Calder finally breathed out.

"The whole Harry Potter series"she gushed.

Calder chuckled at that. "I suppose it was stupid of me to ask."

" that's why I have a crazy gerbil named Bellatrix and this little buddy name Snape"she coed, the large orange snake slithering down her arm.

"Figures." Calder muttered to himself before turning to a bookshelf.

"Don't be so mopey"she said, Snape slithering down her leg.

"I do what I want." He replied simply.

"You. Suck. Sometimes. "She said slowly, rolling her eyes.

"Well that is more of a matter of perspective." Calder added.

"Grrrr. Don't use big words on me!"she said jokingly

He gave her a confused glance. "Maybe you should try sleeping with a dictionary under your pillow. I hear it works quite well."

"I was joking."she said, picking up a dictionary and acting like she was going to hit him with it.

He flinched until he realized she wasn't really going to hit him. "That's not funny, you could kill somebody with that!"

"Exactly why in keeping it handy. "She said with a smirk.

"You just picked i-" Calder sighed, exasperated. He couldn't possibly argue with her.

"I'm going to keep it handy in case you try to argue with me. "

"Hey. I stopped didn't I?" He put his hands in the air like he expected to be arrested.

"Yes. Just in case. "She said, wrapping her arm around the large dictionary.

Calder rolled his eyes. "You're impossible."

"Am not. "She said, shifting her footing.

"Are too." He replied childishly.

She hit him in the leg with the dictionary. "Not. "

He fell to his knees. "Holy shit! Are you trying to kill me?!?" He rubbed his leg while sitting on the floor.

" no just make you shut up"she said, giggling.

"This is proof that you're impossible." He grabbed her and pulled her down to the floor next to him.

She yelped and giggled. "I'm not"

"Yes, and I'm Santa Claus." He kissed her on the forehead before throwing himself onto his back.

"That would explain the fatness..."she teased.

"And the Earth is flat, pigs can fly, and Morgan Freeman is white. But most of all, you're not impossible."

"Dude, Morgan freeman. He played god in a movie, he talks about wormholes, and I want to have dinner with him. I'm predatory sure you don't want to mess with him. "

"He should make audio books for a living with a voice like that."

"Totally. No...no,no,no,no! I said the most girliest thing! Blah! Why would I say totally?!"

"Totally. There. Does that make you feel better?"

"No. "

"Well then there's nothing I can do about it."
