Okanomi sat in his last hour class. He looked up at the clock as the bell rang. He gathered his stuff and walked to L'easha's locker and stood waiting for her.

She showed up and grinned, "How'd you do on your final exam?"

He opened her locker for her. "I passed. Does that count?" He asked with a smile.

"Good. So where are we going to go? We have about the rest of our lives to live."

He laughed.

"I'm serious." He said looking at her.

"I guess,"

"Hey what's wrong? It's our last day."

She shrugged, "I'm just nervous. I still haven't been accepted by a university."

"Well neither have I. That doesn't mean you can't have fun."

"I know. But my parents are really expecting me to go to callege and I can't if I'm not accepted."

"You'll get excepted. Your valedictorian. Who wouldn't want you?" He said that thinking something else.

"I don't know...I sent my papers last semester and still no word..."

"They were probably looking over thousands of papers. Maybe they haven't gotten to yours yet?"

"I told you. I sent them LAST semester."

"Alright tell you what. If you have some fun all this weekend I will do whatever you want." He got on his knees and looked up at her gripping her shirt. "Please?" He had a puppy dog face.

She laughed, "Fine."

He leaped to his feet. "Good. Now lets go! He grabbed her wrist and started running down the hallway to his car, dragging her behind him.

She laughed, blushing a little.

He let go of her wrist and pulled out his keys unlocking the doors. He then went to the passenger side and opened the door for her.

She smiled and got in.

"Well, let's save a dance club for tonight. Um...dunno. you know your way around better than I do."

"Alright the park it is." He nodded and started the car, driving out of the parking lot.
