The Lying Game discussion

Ok so I'm on the fourth bool of the Lying Game series and I just started watching the TV show. They changed so many things that it's not even the same story anymore! I, personally like the books more because they changed the show way to much! What do you guys think?

I personally liked the t.v show because Sutton was actually alive and now Emma and Sutton could actually meet. But that kinda pointless because Sutton is convinced that Emma has taken over her life and now hates Emma.

I really like the books, but I've never watched the Show, except for the "Previously" part after PLL comes on. But, comparing the little bit I've seen, I like the books better.

I liked the book better, the television show missed to many good scenes.

I am on the 5th book and when I watched the TV show I found out that they changed so much! I <3 the books!

Some of the differences I noticed:
1.) Ethan was Sutton's secret boyfriend not Thayer
2.) Thayer knows about the twins
2.) SUTTON IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!!
4.) Garrett's name was Luke in the show
5.)Everything with Mad's dad and Rebecca
6.) there is no twitter twins
7.)Their search is mainly for their birth mother not for the murder (because there is no murderer)
There are so many more, these are just some I noticed
P.S. I honestly think Ethan is really, really, really, really, ugly (Thayer's is not super cute but he's better looking than Ethan)

DEFINITELY THE BOOKS

The book series are a million times better than the tv series in my opinion.
It's quite interesting and you just feel drawn into it. I haven't seen the tv series but i might.

Books are the best, personally its cool seeing Emma & Sutton meeting but seeing how it comes out on the Tv show I think its good they never met. other thingthey left out the Twitter twins, Yeah they are kind of annoying but they are still part of the group(spoiler if you have not read past the first book.) I hate how who plays Ethan I picture him cute in the tv show is..., but Thayer they nailed, but I picture him more jock like.

In my opinion, for Thayer to be Jock-like is weird. Then again, it's due to my opinion from reading the book.

I love the books, the TV show is just different from the books. I like Sutton from the book but hate Sutton from the show. Ethan and Thayer from the books are more interesting!

I like the books way better then the tv show!

I preferred the tv show. Sutton's ghost popping into the book was annoying. Not to mention the characters. I tried to stick it out with the books but 100 pages in I didn't want to continue.

OK, Sutton needs to be killed for this show to even be decent. Just saying.

tv show!!!!

The tv show is my favourite programme ever but I really enjoy reading the books too. They are both good in different ways.

There are so many differences between the books and the show that they almost shouldn't be considered the same. The only characters that match my imagination from the books are the girls. None of the guys look like I thought they would.I have to say I got to the 4th book and couldn't finish it. I love all the episodes I've seen of the tv show though.

I think the book is way better it had a better vibe and the tv shows was just not that exicting compared to the book so yeah

I like the TV show better than the book.

The books are amazing! I like them better because I love the way that Sutton is dead yet she's narrating. I personally hadn't read anything like that before. The t.v. show, however, is great as well. I somewhat like how they kept Sutton alive but by doing so they sort changed the entire plot. Basically the only thing the t.v. show and the book have in common are the characters. Anyway, the show has been cancelled which sucks because I really loved it and wanted to see how it ended.

I would say the books!!!!
I saw like 5 episodes. And then I stopped cuz' it was too different and all that with my sister is dead in the books made the books a lot more interesting.

THE BOOKS!!!!

I like the books and the tv series but the television show is my favourite programme ever so I would say tv show. I really wish the tv show was not cancelled as I have watched the two seasons so many times and I desperately wanted to see if they would get to live together and whether everyone accepted them.

now I love both very much they might be completely different like the last names but I still love both but if I had to choose, I choose the book.. I feel its more interesting but I did get upset when I found out who the killer was that's just sad but I still love the book
