I started The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Love it

I just finished my re-read of and am working my way through . I'm hoping to get through the series by the end of February, but we'll see.

I'll probably end up finishing them just in time to re-read them again before the 8th book comes out! haha

I currently have four books going (I suffer from reading ADD, so I need an assortment to keep me going):

I'm fixing to start later today.

I am reading Mulligans Reach by Jennie Orbell, a friend of mine. So far it is excellent with well drawn characters, intrigue in the plot, good description and plenty of humour worked into the dialogue.

I'm always reading a bunch of stuff at the same time - right now I'm alternating between and as well as listening to the audio version of at work. :)

I finished Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex, which was a lot of fun to read.

Now I'm starting The Historian.

i actually liked it. and the first books is usually the weakest for all the series so i try not to judge until book 3 or so. but thanks for the warning

Denise - how are you liking I need to get back to this series. I love Atticus and Oberon.

Finished Loved it!! All I can say is where is my Hank?? Also finished was pretty good for a first in a series...little redundant in parts but overall ok

I want them to be my new besties..... granted they would have to move to Chicago or I would have to move there,lol
I also want to know....are all the men like that in Denver cuz the rest of us sure are missing out ☺

I've been inbetween several books the past week; not because I dislike any of them, just the opposite. I'm just too excited and have to know what happens in all of them so that it takes me months to finish a single book and usually start finishing several all at the same time! lol :)

But anyway, a few of those books are Inkheart, American Gods, and Brisingr :)

@ Theo: I read the Historian and loved it! Hope you like it as much as I did :)

I finished and breezed through in just over a day. Now I'm reading for next week's book group at work :)

You should definitely try it again. It is really good!

I'm reading

I'm starting the year catching up on some mystery series that have been on my TBR for ages-- Michael Connelly, Lawrence Block, James Lee Burke, Margaret Maron, and a bunch of cozies. Probably do that for another month or so, then it will be time for some historical fiction!

I loved it, awesome characters, great storyline and oh, the sarcasm. Gotta love the sarcasm. :D Decided within the first 50 pages to buy all the other books available so far ASAP!

Finished and now on to already disturbing and only on chapter 5...LOVE it!

This is a great adventure story that teaches some wonderful lessons about self-sufficiency. The writing style is reminiscent of Hemingway – short declarative sentences that propel the story forward. I love the final sentence before the Epilogue, and almost wish that Paulsen had simply ended the story there.

Currently reading in no particular order - not very far in but Gin's sister is getting on my nerves!?! which has just started to get really interesting (reading this one on my phone) - trying to get back into this world after a short hiatus and last but not least ~ this one is set in Chicago and haven't decided what my thoughts on this book are yet - I kind of feel like the author has a little ADD it skips around a lot....

Just started for a purple challenge and still trying to finish and

I started listening to and I'm loving it...I saw the movie too....Melissa how many pages is , my nook says 1419...

Mine probably said the same thing but......nook pages and regular paperback book pages are not the same thing. I know that in some groups they have a thread were you can get prior "authorization" that your ebook meets the requirement for whatever the rules are that you are following. Hope that makes sense. I can ask in another thread for you if you would like.

With the weird Ebook pages just see how many pages it skips each time you change a page and then divide by that number. It's not 100% but it will be closer than the crazy number.

Hyde has 384 pgs in paperback version. I would say Jekyll is probably right around there give or take 10 pgs so between 370 ~ 395ish

Good reads will not let me add a book or click html for some weird reason! grrrr!!! But anyhow I'm reading

It is so awesome...I would have finished it the second night if I wouldn't have gotten sick but finishing up tonight and gonna read something light and fluffy next so that I can sleep without some disturbing dreams! lol
