Arcticvet | 2 comments Since October, I have read three Wallander mysteries by Mankell:

Firewall (Wallander #8) by Henning Mankell

Faceless Killers (Wallander, #1) by Henning Mankell

The Dogs of Riga (Wallander #2) by Henning Mankell

Since December, I have been working on

The Pyramid The Origins of Kurt Wallander by Henning Mankell

Once I complete The Pyramid, I intend to start

The White Lioness (Wallander #3) by Henning Mankell

My introduction to the Wallander series came about through the broadcast of one or two PBS television programs.

Henning Mankell was the best.

Steve Lasaine | 3 comments Hello - For styles in the Wallander form, I would recommend the Martin Beck series by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo. The van Veeteren series by Hakan Nesser. Or the Department Q series by Jussi Adler-Olsen.

Pretty much in that order. There’s also Nesbo, Billingham, and McDermid

Happy reading.
