I have read all of the wallander books , loved them, can any of you help me choose another book or author that is similarly good .Henning Mankell was the best.
I miss his books so much.
Hello - For styles in the Wallander form, I would recommend the Martin Beck series by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo. The van Veeteren series by Hakan Nesser. Or the Department Q series by Jussi Adler-Olsen. Pretty much in that order. There’s also Nesbo, Billingham, and McDermid
Happy reading.
Have you read Alan Furst? Or Benjamin Black? Both are excellent. Try to read them in sequence of publication as bits of information carry forward. Immensely enjoyable!
