So, Pia turns into a unicorn.

Did you see that coming?

I didn't see that one coming, I admit. Honestly, I think if it hadn't been handled just right, I would have hated that choice, but somehow Thea Harrison wrote it in a way that I accepted the unicorn without an eye-roll.

How about you? What did you think of Pia's Wyr side?

I have to admit I was surprised. It's one of those things that once you know what it is you look back and think 'oh, that makes sense' but don't see it coming
I do like how it was handled, it makes me mother's fears and unnatural overprotectiveness seem much more realistic; and I love how the unicorn is like this little thing the size of a shetland. very cute

Balence wise it works; kind of toning down the avert agressiveness and violence assoiated with Dragos' dragon side

That is a really great point. It showcases the way they complement each other.
