If you're anything like me you go through life seeing books here and there and you want to read so much. You want to curl up inside a book and bathe in it's warmth, you want an adventure, you want to escape, you want to expand your mind, you want to experience, you want it all. Inevitably though most of these books you never actually get around to reading. Sometimes you come back to them years later but sometimes they fade and you forget they ever even existed. And then there are those books, maybe just one book, that you've always wanted to read but you never do. Of course you know you'll get to it at some point but you're a bit busy at the moment. Share that one book here, inspire us all to read.

Inferno (The Divine Comedy, #1) by Dante Alighieri

So this is one of the one's that I have meant to read for so long. I will get there soon.

Jamie Wall (gazpacho_soup) | 3 comments I have had House of Leaves on my book shelf for 2 years. It intimidates me honestly.

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

I hadn't heard of that. It looks like it's definitely worth getting around to though.

Kevin Milligan | 54 comments I've been staring at Interview with a Vampire for about that time length. One day....one day.

Jamie Wall (gazpacho_soup) | 3 comments Kevin I love that series but I'll admit, that book was my
least favorite. Still a good book though and totally worth reading to get to the next few.

I have that trilogy right in front of my eyes. I must admit it's been one of my own 'got to get around to that' books. I even started reading it once, it seemed really good, but something came up and I had a load of other books to read.

Lindsay | 4 comments If I had to choose just 'that one book' I don't think I could, however, I would absolutely love to get through Tad William's Otherland series. I finished the first years ago amd started the 2nd, but memory fails me and I'll probably have to start fresh. from what I do remember it has many different storylines and characters to follow. Surprisingly, I never got lost...well, until I put it down for too long. Williams has a keen sense for pulling the reader in, making us care about each character, and creating entire worlds with his words. Loved it and MUST read it all the way through! Anyone else read this series? No spoilers please, but what did you think?

Clyde (wishamc) Lindsay, I know how you feel. I have Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn books staring at me from my bookshelf right now. Someday ...

That's sort of my story with Stephen King's 'Dark Tower' series. I loved the first book but I just haven't got around to carrying on the series. One day...
