Hey does anyone know if they are turning the house of night novels into movies? I have heard many rumors about it but I have no idea what the legit deal is.

PC Cast also said through her live stream chat that she confirmed for five movies. The first is going to be released in 2013.
This is from Wikipedia, under film adaptation for the novels
A Fallen movie is in talks, and Walt Disney Studios has optioned the rights to Fallen. Since the Fallen series is a four part series, Disney made sure that they obtained rights to all four of the books in the deal. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray will produce the movie. Alex Pettyfer is said to star in it. ( From Wikipedia) It is also said that Lucy Hale will play Luce, and Liam Hemsworth will also be in it.
Would love to hear peeps thoughts on The Hobbit. My favorite book as a kid. Do you think it lives up to LOTR movies? Better? Worse? Thoughts on the additional stuff not from Hobbit book?
Krystle and I were just talking about our favorite books by Karen Marie Moning, hiighhly recommend it! Starts with this one
Incredibly fun series. We are hoping it will become a television series, perhaps on HBO or SHOtime, seeing as there are many naughty scenes, lol.
In 2011, the rights were picked up by Dreamworks, that would have been amazing.
Usually Book-to-Movie/T.V. adaptions make me sad, but this one I will let slide, because there are so many things going on visually in the world of Fae, I think it would be stunning to see in "Real Life" A television series would be perfect for this novel though. KMM just has this magic with her writing, she throws you on curves when you least expect it, her character development is phenomenal, and the adventure for the different mysteries we stumble upon in the books, are edge-of-your-seat fun. AAHH if you haven’t read this series yet, maybe you will find that you too will enjoy it!

I would love it if the "Fever" series were to be turned into either a series on HBO/Showtime or a movie !
Other books I'd like to see turn into something would be Stephen King's "Cell" - that would be a good series..
Dean Koontz's " Lightning" , Loved this book. The time travelers wife was similiar but not quite.
Deleted my previous posts because I posted from my phone then realized I had major typos lol, ran to the computer and re-wrote this ! Ha..

That would be a-feckin-amazing lolol. A girl could only wish though *sniffles* I thought she actually deleted it at one point, because I couldn't find it on her page.
I posted the Who's who of Book covers the other day on Larissa Iones wall because one of her books was up for the Top Cover in Paranormal Romance, and she took it off :( . Prolly because it had other authors?
Any-Who..
For anyone that read Stephen King's "Under the Dome" it will be a 13 episode mini series in June on CBS :)
Bought the book and told my dad about it, he then said he wanted to read it right away so I hope I'll be able to get to it before the show airs! Ha!

Nice!! I didn't know about that, I will have to DVR it!
I was wondering if KMM is sick of hearing people talk about movies and television for her series, but I had to get it out there for her to consider moreeee. She'd make even more money, with all the crazy Feverfans out there. Knock True Blood and all those other paranormal shows out of the water. Looks like it is still on her wall, but like, hidden somewhere, so confused lol.

Here is my review:
Review after watching the STUPID MOVIE:
My mantra (when dealing with the whole book turns into a movie) has always been "THE BOOK IS BETTER THAN THE MOVIE" (and don't argue with me because I WILL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF). People who are too lazy to read the books argue with me, but I'm to busy feeling sad for them to even care about ripping their heads off. The "Beautiful Creatures" movie gives me more reason to agree with my mantra. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING!! Nothing close to the book AT ALL. The switch of Jack O Connell to whatever this guys name is affected me at first, but then i thought "well the movie is still going to happen so I should be happy about that." However, this greatly affected me while watching the trailers and then the ACTUAL MOVIE. This guy looks like he is FREAKIN THIRTY!! And Ethan is suppose to be 16!!! I faced the same problem with the actress playing Lena (though her problem was not as bad as the problem I faced with the actor playing Ethan). This is just the start of a long tirade my friends. Second: THE ACCENTS!! I understand this is a southern book and I was excited that the actors were going to have southern accents. But Ethan's actor...he just didn't fully cherish the southern accent and his laugh was just SOOO TACKY!!! Third: The movie was nothing like the book (okay just maybe but in a few parts). I READ BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and yet the movie was confusing to me (imagine how it was for those who didn't even read the book). The directors didn't really know how to show the whole spell thing. The whole history with Genevieve was barely mentioned! And as usual the directors had to put in things that had no business being there! Like for example, Lena NEVER put a spell on Ethan so that he would forget her. Yet, tell me how in the movie she did! It wasn't till the end, when Ethan was on his way to college (which he isn't even suppose to be going to because he is SIXTEEN) and scream "LENA" (this was tacky also). The fact that Lena claimed herself as a dark and light caster was not given enough importance. The special relationship between Ethan and Lena was not build up enough. The movie started and within 2 minutes Ethan was already kissing Lena. I MEAN COME ON!! There is something called time...which makes a relationship be worth what it's really suppose to be worth. In the end, don't waste 10 or even 1 dollar on this movie because it sucked. I kind of want to say that whatever horrible comment people have made for Beautiful creatures THE BOOK think of me saying that but for the MOVIE.
Overall, I was really upset because the book was soo AWESOME and when I heard of the movie I had high hopes that it would be a success, but to me it definitely wasn't.
Should have known it was going to be terrible with the first few mins , when "Ethan" started singing in the car..... ugh lmao
I used to be a huge fan of Archie comics! I still have every one of them in storage, sad I know. But for you other Archie-heads, after the series being on the downlow for so long, we are looking at a whole new generation for the series... on the big screen!
What do you think about this?

OO, thanks! Adding that to the blog list!
I've been adding trailers and pics and keeping an eye out for further news on these productions! Sooo excited because Divergent finally has stills from the film weeeee. I already know the movies are going to be better LOL. I think I finally realized why I didn't like the books so much, they read at a lower grade level. T_T
