I'm behind, only on page 62, but I'll lock myself in a room tonight/tomorrow.
So far I like it, it does feel a bit dry so far, but having read the prologue, and the summaries for both of the first two books, the overarching structure of the series seems pretty creative.

I had forgotten how much Seedless cared for Maati, still deciding if that seems consistent with the Andat concept.
I really liked how they didn't drip feed you the Andat concept. Rather, they gave the premise in one go and then built on it when the story required by reiterating the same thing but in more detail/different angle.
Seedless is a cracking character and I really liked Maati in places.
I'll wait untill everyones finished before discussing more plot details because spoiler tags. Lack there of.

I've just finished, so if you guys would maybe, I don't know, discuss anything, feel free to make a a new topic.
I give the book 3 stars, although its closer to 3.5 but falls short of a 4. Decent start and I look forward to starting the second one soon.
