((This is where the water dragons sleep and or nest. They are caves right next to the sea that are fairly damp; comfortable for the water dragons. Beware because they CAN flood.))

River entered the cave, landing carefully on his hind feet. He placed the small version of his mate, Bella on their damp, mossy nest. "How are you?" he asked wordily.

River nodded at both. He'd asked a pretty stupid question, but he wasn't thinking straight.

when Bella got to her full size she stretched her wings. she laid back down. "can i have some privacy now. thank u. babye." she shooed them out.

He widened his eyes and slowly backed out, knocking a stalagmite over with his tail. He winced in embarrassment and turned around, leaving.

River twitched his tail and reentered. He puffed smoke in joy and trotted over, lying next to Bella. River nosed the eggs lovingly then looked at Bella. "Well, you said you wanted a dragonette, but there's two. What are the odds? I can't wait to know what they are! Do you have names picked out for either gender?"
"Brooke and Aidan" she said wrapping her tail around them

River ignored them, paws itching and tail twitching with excitement. "Perfect," he hummed.
"i dont care." she said pleading yes with her eyes.
River's tail continued to twitch...

Bella heard a crack while she was sleeping. she woke instantly

River had been out hunting and had a few fish in his jaws. His jaw dropped (the fish fell) when he saw Bella awake. He needn't ask but he rushed over and lay in front of Bella.
she nodded towards the eggs. out of one a small white dragon with blue specks was climbing out.
He smiled and moved the eggshells out of the way, allowing the young dragon to crawl out into the open.
the second egg burst open and a dark blue dragonet crawled out joining its sibling.
"A male and female. Aiden and Brooke," he looked lovingly at his children.
Bella nodded and stood up for the first time in days. the dragonets followed her out of the cave. Aiden walking regal and proud, plus excited.Brooke walking scared and shy but also excited. Aiden jumped onto rivers back. "daddy" he squeaked.
River chuckled. "Aiden," he smiled in response, rising to his own paws and following Bella out of the cave.
Aiden squealed as he rode river.
