Hi! My name is Becky. I have been a birder for years and a bird photographer for about 10 years. I am fortunate enough to be able to travel some to photograph birds. As a consequence, I enjoy most anything having to do with birds including biogeography and the history and evolution of birds.
Welcome Becky! I am an avid birder since I was a kid and just recently took up photography(attempting anyways). My second passion is books. I have worked in the book industry for the last 7 years and am lucky to have access to a lot of books. I am not a good writer and am more of a math/statistics nerd. I am the type of person that will sit down and read a field guide cover to cover. Evolution and field ID are always subjects on my current reading table. I live in Indiana and bird mostly in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. Cheers
I love field guides. However, I admit that I am more of browser. I use them for more utilian purposes. I like the big picture rather than the details. I am looking forward to reading your Kaufman selection for next month.
I have been a birder for a little over a year now but I have enjoyed being in the outdoors since I was a young Girl Scout. I live in Ohio and my favorite bird to see is a Cedar Waxwing. The rarest bird I have seen is a Kirtland's Warbler. As a birder I have participated in a breeding bird survey, a Project Feeder Watch, and a Christmas Bird Count.
Hi! I'm Katie, a thirteen-year-old birder from Mississippi. I've been birding since I was about six years old. I am also really into photography, reading, and writing. I am homeschooled and have six brothers (and one more on the way!)

My grandmother in MS got me started watching birds when I was about your age. I live in Colorado now and feed hummingbirds every summer and magpies during the winter.
