Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora paused at the lip of of the building, standing so her shadow wasn't casting into the alley beneath her. Reaching into her back pockets, she tugged out a pair of black gloves and quickly pulled them on. She tugged her wavy hair back into a pony tail and tightened the laces on her combat boots. Glancing at the alley, she closed her eyes and pictured how she would land and then how she would escape after meeting the man she was waiting for.

Cillian walks down the dark alley, wearing his normal suit - he wasn't on a job, so he didn't need to wear the uncomfortable black uniform.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Harper pushed herself off from the building, arched, and landed on her feet. The impact rocked through her bones but she didn't mind. She just needed to get the information she needed to complete her first job

Cillian stops, hearing a tiny something. "Hello?" he calls, the Irish accent ringing strongly through the alley.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora froze, slinking back into the shadows. Was this the man she was waiting for? She wasn't quite sure, Timothy hadn't exactly given her a description, just a location

Cillian carefully slips the gun out, just in case. "I know you're there... unless you're a cat, which would be embarrassing."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "Meow," Aurora said somewhat comically, slipping a blade out so it was concealed in the palm of her hand. She stepped carefully out of the shadows

Cillian cocks the gun, raising it up, just in case he had to shoot. He'd aim it at the sky first, of course, just to see if she could be scared. No need to waste unnecessary life.
"Hello, sweetheart," he smiles, turning to face her.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "hi," aurora said cautiously, flicking her wrist so he could see her weapons. " what brings you here?"

"Can't a guy enjoy the peace and quiet of a dark, dodgy alleyway?" Cillian smirked. "I should ask you the same thing."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "i always thought it was safest for a young pertty girl to play in dark allies" she quipped

"Ah yes," he grinned, playing along. "Whereas us older men are never to be found lurking in them, are we?" He raises the gun into her line of sight. "Skedaddle, missy."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "I'm sorry to be rude, but i think I'll have to decline. i await future company," she said, not flinching at the sight of the gun

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

"Ooh," he giggled slightly, mockingly. "Colour me intrigued. What kind of future company?"

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- " oh, none but the dangerous and cowardly kind i think," she said, letting her hair fall slowly out of its containments

"Please tell me you're not an assassin," Cillian groaned. "That would just make my ****ing day."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- surprise was displayed across her face for a moment before she hid it

"You might want to make an investment in acting classes there. Who do you work for?" he asked, decocking the gun.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- " i work for timothy," she said, slipping her knife back up her sleeve

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Cillian whistled out slowly. "How old are you? You look like you're fifteen."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora frowned at him. "I'll have you know I'm17"

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

"And working for Timothy? I hate to say it, but that's impressive." He looked her up and down.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- she stood her ground, "I'm the last student he will ever have." the sadness could be felt in her voice. she watched his eyes rake over her

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Cillian blinked in shock. "The last? Why?"

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "he's fallen ill. I'm to finish the rest of his jobs and then continue on his legacy." Aurora replied

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

"You're his new protegée!" Cillian said, grinning. "We were all wondering when you were going to come to light. Timothy's shrouded you in mystery, you know."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "oh?" Aurora raised her eyes in question, "i had no idea i was so well known"

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh yes. It's all that Jeremy's office talk about."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora was pleasantly surprised and it was clearly displayed on her face

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

"Don't get ahead of yourself," he scoffed. "It's just gossip. You won't matter in a few weeks."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- "that's fine by me, I'm used to not mattering," Aurora shrugged, "as long as i can get my job done"

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'll leave you to it," he said, starting to saunter off. "I don't think your guy's gonna show- we've been talking for half an hour already."

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora frowned, her brow furrowing, "hmm...he should have been here 15minutes ago. .."

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Cillian sunk into the shadows, watching. He'd already gotten a guy today - and he really hoped they'd had the same assignment.

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora took cue and slunk back into the shadows, sliding a knife back into each palm

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora froze, seeing a figure approach

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora tensed up, unsure if the figure was her target or not

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- Aurora studied the approaching figure. from their stature, the form appeared to be a woman. Aurora frowned in puzzlement, Timothy had insisted the person she sought out was male

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- aurora heard the subtle sound of the knife moving through the air and she dropped flat against the ground, silently. she slid two knives into the palms of her hands

Denver -writes poems drinks wine- (( Where'd everyone go??:( )))
