There aren't that many in The Hobbit, and I haven't watched or read LotR yet, so I don't really have a favourite.
Have you seen the Lord of the Ring's series yet? There are quite a few of them in there!

The Elves: It was nice to see that Peter Jackson included Galadriel in the film alongside Elrond. I also loved the part where the Dwarves were all defensive when they rode into Rivendell on horseback (after an Orc raid) and circled the Dwarves; highlighting the tension between the two races.
I love the elves. Such graceful creatures they are.Galadriel looked so elegant in The Hobbit.

It was also interesting that P. Jackson added in the meeting with the Istari...excluding Radagast (who acording to Saruman prefers his mushrooms?!). Having seen the Lord of the Rings and when Saruman is corrupted by Sauron, it was quite strange to see him before - acting quite normal!

Galadriel is my favorite elf/one of my favorite characters in LOTR. :D
