Hi! My favorite author is Ally carter. Her books are soo good-they keep you thinking and they capture the essence of espionage and what it means to be stealthy...and a teenager! I highly recommend her books!!

Hi everyone! My favorite author is, undoubtably, the amazing J.K. Rowling. I've grown up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they progressed through their years at Hogwarts, and it was quite sad to see my favorite series come to an end only a few years ago. If you haven't read the Harry Potter series, my first response would be WHY? And my second response would be that you need to make a trip to Barnes and Noble immediately. I would highly recommend the series to any avid readers.

yeah I agree absolutely love with all of my heart Harry Potter. I would have to say my favorite author is J.K. Rowling but because you already posted her I feel as though I need to add another one. Favorite book would have to be "To Kill a Mockingbird" read it in high school and have read it probably 5 times since then. (graduated in 2007)
Well so far I really love i hunt killers by barry lyga and am very excited for his sequel to it!! I really loved Shadow and bone also. My favorite authors would probably be April Henry, Barry Lyga, and Leigh Burdago so far
My favorite series is the Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I'm trying to get into the Bloodlines series by her.
I loved the Beautufil Creatures series and I must say I really liked the Hunger Games as well ^^John Green I enjoy too!
Alex Flinn, John Green J.K. Rowling, Sarah Mlynowski, Madeleine L'engle, Ally Condie, Veronica Roth, Jules Verne and many many more :D
My absolute favorite books are Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Mortal Instruments series. I don't have a favorite author though.
J.K.Rowling, Cathrynne M. Valente, Marissa Meyer and Suzanne Collins are on the top of my list. James Dashner, Eric Walters, J.R.R. Tolkein and Meg Cabot are also favourites but they are in second place.
I really like Kiera Cass, Cassandra Clare, Veronica Roth and Marie Lu! All of their books, to me, were very well written. I can never put down them down once I start reading them
Authors: Cassandra Clare, Lisa McMann, Kazu Kibuishi (actually a graphic novel author/illustrator, though), Ally Condie, Cat Patrick, Suzanne Collins, Harlan Coben, Lizzie Wilcock (her book GriEVE)
My favorite author is undoubtedly JK Rowling. Her books got me hooked on reading at the mere age of 6, which led to my love of writing as well. I can read the Harry Potter series over and over again without tiring of it and each time I am absolutely dumbfounded by the world and characters she has created. I just adore her books, they defined my childhood.
