Small post of game-play: ((Example: Jessica pushed off the ground with a grunt as the whistle blew, high and loud. She saw the opposing team and her own teammates rise into the air around her, and she rose higher than them all, already squinting her sage green eyes to see the golden Snitch. A Bludger came hurling itself toward her with a hearty attack, and she was forced to roll on her room, hanging upside down for just a moment before righting herself again and scanning the field for the Snitch.
There it was! She zoomed in and out between players and dived along the posts toward a golden glinting, hovering in midair, and she heard cheers as she caught the small fluttering ball in her hand and took off toward the ground, knowing her game was won!))

Remember, there are three Chasers, one Keeper, two Beaters, and one Seeker. The Chasers job is to shoot the Quaffle through the goal posts. The Keepers job is to guard those posts from the opposing team. The Beaters keep the Bludgers away from their team, and Seeker finds the Snitch, winning the match if caught, and earning his or her team and extra 150 points.

Small post of game-play: The game had been going for close to half an hour and still no goals had been made. Both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor were playing amazing defense. Gwen took a sharp turn towards the end of the court, in hot pursuit of the bludger just out of reach. She felt the frigid wind in her face and felt her hair peaking out of her helmet, being pushed around by the wind. She reached the bludger in moments and pulled her bat back. With a loud crack, the bludger was sent in the direction of Gryffindor's chaser with the Quaffle. She had stunned him just enough for the quaffle to drop from his grasp and into her teammate's grasp. In no time she was watching as it glided through the hoop. Finally the first score had been made. From there, Gwen knew that her team could pull things together and win the tournament.

Gwen has been brought onto the Ravenclaw House Quidditch team, as Beater. Cheer for her!

As Madame Hooch blew her whistle to begin the game, Naomi immediately sped off. Her teammate had caught the Quaffle and was speeding down the field towards Hufflepuff's Keeper. He collided with Hufflepuff's player and dropped the Quaffle, and in a flash of movement Naomi caught it and zoomed away at the same path her teammate had been taking. She easily swerved a frantic Hufflepuff Chaser, narrowly avoided a Bludger, shot, and whoosh scored the first goal of the game. "That wasn't so bad," she thought as she took a victory loop around the field.

Naomi has been brought onto the Ravenclaw House Quidditch team, as Chaser. Cheer for her!

Age: 17
Position: Seeker
Broom: Firebolt
Small post for game play: As he heard the whistle blow, she kicked off the ground, and flew up high like a hawk, to try and spot the snitch. Suddenly, she saw it. The familiar glitter of golden wings. She dived downwards, when suddenly, she found out that she was being tailed by one of the Slytherin chasers! Time for the Wollongong shimmy, she thought, She zig-zagged in and out, and swiftly ducked to avoid a bludger hit her way by a Slytherin Beater. She might have been fast enough, but her pursurer wasn't so lucky. He got a clout on his face, and started swaying on his broom. She then found herself being tailed by the Slytherin Keeper this time. She rolled her eyes, and thought: Not again! She dived downwards, and did the wronski feint. She excecuted it perfectly, and the slytherin keeper just had enough time to swerve. She saw the snitch again, and did the plumpton pass. Next thing she knew, She was caught in the middle of a human wave hugging her.

Spirios has been brought onto the Ravenclaw House Quidditch Team, as Seeker! Cheer for her!

I'd like to calm this topic down, please? I choose Spirios over James because her writing is better, in my opinion. Godmoding, in this case, is perfectly acceptable because an active match isn't taking place here. You have to make some things up.
I would also like to state that I appreciate each and every role-player on this group, and I am sure James is a very capable role-player.
James, you could possibly make a deal with Spirios, filling in for her when she can't play, or seeing about splitting the seeker role in half, taking turns. Or, you could use a different character, if you have one, and fill in for Seeker at a different house.
Possibly even take another role on this team.
Many options.
Otherwise, the choice is made, and I'm sorry if I've upset anyone, but I'm not going back on it.

Danny lifted off, hurriedly gaining altitude as his broom went higher and higher. He kept his eye out for stray Bludgers, weilding his bat close in his left hand and holding onto his Nimbus 2001 and shooting further up. Eventually he saw a large ball hurtling towards the seeker. He raced after it without thought and whacked it towards the one of opposing teams seekers. He smiled as his hit hit the tip of the broomstick and sent it spiraling down, his bright blue eyes following the progress of the falling figure before he reimmersed himself in protecting his team from magical balls of metal.
