What is so great about it?

First off, the characters. The fact that they are realistic and something you can attach to. Then the plot. It doesn't get boring and the events that happen happen for a reason and it makes sense. Also, it isn't cliche. The voice I guess you could call it. The books are told from the point of view of two different characters. They are different, think differently, act differently, and are unique in their own way. Marie Lu does a very great job at switching point of views without making the two of them be the same. One chapter you are completely with June and the next one you are completely with Day. A characteristic that I find the most fascinating is that she ties something personal or familiar to the books. In the first book there is a scene completely based on a true historical event. The setting of the book is directly connected to America and the world. You have the Republic of America, the Colonies of the United States, and the Patriots. Each one of them share something American and today's America would be the three of them combined. The setup of her dystopian world is really cool and thought through. The dystopian civilizations got there by realistic means. Also, her style. In her books you have to pick up on things yourself and she isn't flat out giving you something. I think it involves the reader more and ties the reader deeper into the story. Overall it is a terrific book series.

I have a lot of books to read, and it might take me a few months to finish them all, but when I do, I am reading Legend.

Same here. I do it a lot to my friends at school and Liz just gets all overwhelmed and takes forever to actually read the books. Katie just gets really annoyed and frustrated at me because I just keep talking and reminding her and she doesn't get to say anything.

This is like health class all over again. Uggggggg

I wonder what it is like in High School.

We are in middle school, 8 grade.

In health we are learning about emotional and mental health. Stuff like that. Katie and I's, call it symbiotic relationship, reminds me of health class.

I want to be a High Schooler; interesting.

I don't know. High schoolers scare me and I want to go to high school because it gives you more choices but the people scare me.
