There are 14 chapters, so they are probably longer...do you want to do 3 a day? That will take about 4 days.
We can shoot for that. On my ipad it says it has 757 pages. Not as bad as
which had 1000 pages. That can be a little intimidating looking at a book with that many pages.

The pages are different on your ipad...I'm not sure how it counts them. I have the paperback and it has 374 pages. Iced hardcover had around 500.
I don't know why it is different than Nook or Kindle but that's what it says. I think I need to quit looking at that because I syke myself out.
I just bought the whole series. The library only had the first two and I knew I wanted to read the series.
I had to buy them too. My library didn't have any of them. I actually got the first three through paperbackswap.com.
Here I am sitting at my computer doing homework (sigh) and I come across the B.I.A., and it makes me think of you guys!! Then I'm happy again - except I wish I was reading instead of doing homework :)
BTW, the BIA in my homework was the Bureau of Indian Affairs - studying Native American history.

I'm blatantly procrastinating writing my paper that is due this week. So I need some advice…
I signed up for Audible last month with a free 30-day trial and two free books. I got my two books and emailed them to cancel. They emailed back that if I would keep it for now they would give me half off for the next three months ($7.49 instead of $14.99). For that price I get one audiobook a month – so a total of three. I kept it because it's a really good deal, but, I cannot decide what to get! I want ones that I will listen to more than once. Any suggestions?

I suggest
.
reminds me of Dresden files. It was a little hard to get into at first but I ended up really liking it.

I really want to read the rest of the series. I also like Kate Daniels series. I listened to all of them and really liked it.

Sheri, I have Audible and love it. You can check out my Audible bookshelf. I put everything I listen to on there, so lots of ideas.
Thanks Rachel, I'll take a look at it. I get most of my audiobooks from my library. I really just signed up for it to get Stephen King's 11/22/63 (which was AWESOME by the way), and decided for the intro price to keep it.
Sheri, I just downloaded a new audio
. It has the same narrator as
. I love her. I also downloaded
I have seen a lot of good reviews.

I just can't make a choice, has anybody listened to , I think it's called "dream Dark" the other Laini Taylor series? I really haven't the foggiest. I saw what Leigh recommends. Any suggestions would be great. If I never listen to any even the deal price is a waste .
Sheri when you borrow them from the library, is it an mp3 or mp4? Does it play on your iPod or MP3 player or a smart phone?
I play on my iPod and they are either MP3 or WMA files - my library uses both. I'm sure it would play on a smart phone, but I don't have one (sadly, my phone is intellecually challenged).
I loved Forbidden, but I haven't listened to the audio.

WMA play on smartphone.
is a great book and the series I also liked. I listened to the whole series.
I started but sadly only read through ch. 4. (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Someone is trying to kill Alexia which is not unusual because she is always getting into trouble.(view spoiler)
I got chapters 1-3 read this morning. I forgot since the last book how much I like Alexia :) Her job with the Queen sounds kind of boring. The only fun she probably gets out of it is argueing with the other two.
Channing Channing of the whatever Channings I'm sure will learn his place. What do you think of Ivy getting engaged?
I haven't read your last spoiler yet, Leigh, because I haven't gotten that far :)

I wonder about the man. How is it that Alexia hasn't met him. Could he maybe using Ivy to get closer to Alexia and Conall?

I've been suspicious about Madame Lefeoux, especially now that we know she knows Angelique.

I am up to chapter 8, so I am still a bit behind but not as far :) Where is everyone?? Alyssia!! Clare!!
I was wondering the same thing. We haven't heard from them in a while.
What do you think about Madame Lefoux flirting with Alexia?

I love Alexia and Conall's relationship. I enjoy the banter and that they understand one another.

Lol! I was going to say something about that but forgot. She's a little bit...forward. And Alexia (at least at this point) doesn't even have a clue. It's funny.

Is Madame Lefoux doing it to get closer to her or does she think Alexia would be up for a little petting?

I'm sorry everything has been crazy for you. We have missed you. Hopefully it will slow down soon.
I will start a thread and post it.

I like how in this book it's not a huge deal to Alexia that her husband will outlive her. She mentions it talking to Ivy at one point how she understands that he was there before her and he will be there after her. Usually in vampire/werewolf books this is a huge deal to the main characters, but it's not even really a point to Alexia.
