Hello, Crossroaders! Are any of you going to try to import all your books from Shelfari here? Is there an easy way to do that?

Ok, I found us. But I really don't like the goodreads discussion format.

Neither do I, we just set up a Crossroads, to do some of the things we can't on Shelfari, like post pics and youtube, etc.

We will only be as active as we want to be and will continue to stay active on shelfari.

This is a good back up site in case something happens to Shelfari. I like our "home" better too, although I imagine if we had to move here we would get used to it. I will add books as I read them, but I don't think I will move all my books here unless it can be done quickly and easily. Does anyone know who sponsors goodreads?

It's been very, very slow, but seemed to be getting better a few minutes ago.

I've just realized that none of the edits I've placed in shelfari discussions the last few days haven't been saved.New replies seem to be ok.

I've noticed that too. We need to figure out what will happen now that Amazon has bought goodreads.

I haven't been able to get on for over 24 hours. The site comes on for a second or two and then my screen goes white. Anyone else? Denise

I'm not having that problem, but what if you go directly to crossroads does it work?

That didn't help until I started clicking on everything possible at the top; I clicked on the torn page and the page stayed up with this warning message: Your browser is not supported in Shelfari. We think you’ll like Safari, Chrome or Firefox. I use Explorer. I'm going to see if it will let me read and post.

That is strange. I use Firefox, but have Explorer and tried that and was able to open to Shelfari.

Try Crome. There is an app for the browser

Just joined Goodreads so I could vote in the Goodreads/Shelfari/LT poll. And have been meaning to sign up for this Crossroads backup group.

I just heard from Alison and we agreed we need to start as 12 step program for shelfari addicts.

BB just got Shelfari to load. The site says Shelfari is off reading a short novel but will be back soon.
