What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

looking for a book that I read last year. what I can remember is: he is walking towards his family home but stops and runs back to the car where he tells his brother "the Goddess has deemed to choose a mate for me" I don't remember much about her, I think she has some kind of special power and an elderly female relative that can shapeshift into a white tiger. The ending of the book is: she goes into the women's bathroom and something happens to her, he finds her unconscious on the floor.

I forgot, they cannot be far apart from each other or they feel ill. Also they have some kind of confrontation with the enemy where the elderly lady shapeshifts and the connection between them seems to be more lenient afterwards.

This is definitely the first in Eileen Wilks lupi series.

Main character is 'touch sensitive', has grandmother that shifts into tiger, is bonded to werewolf by werewolves' goddess (the Lady) with a 'mate bond' (which makes them ill if too far apart), and ends up collapsed in bathroom at end of book.
