Wow! You're doing great Jennifer, and it looks like some good books too.

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) I work for the schools here in Victoria (IT) and they are on their summer holidays, so lots of reading time for me at the moment. :) Only another 10 days left though, so the pace may slow down some. :(

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Updated finished list.

I am so jealous!! I haven't finished a book in over a week! Between Jingo, going to my Dad's, and not being able to settle on one book (I've started five), it's just not happening. I'm hoping things are calming down and I'll finish all of them quickly.

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) I'm not very good at starting more than one book at a time, so I'm jealous you can keep 5 going at once! And just think, when you do finish them, you'll have 5 to add almost all at once.

I don't have dogs (love them, just not their upkeep), I have cats, so I can't imagine how busy you must be bringing Jingo into your home and getting him acclimated. My cats have just been "grounded" from going outside because I keep catching them trying to dig up the garden. That's enough "mothering" to drive me bananas! :)

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Updated completed read list.

Randa | 175 comments You are going to be done with this challenge shortly, I'm amazed and jealous. I decided to do this challenge in alphabetical order and am currently stuck on "G". I have read a lot of books this year just not all cozies.

Great job!

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Thanks Randa - but I suspect it's going to take me a lot longer to read the missing letters; I checked my upcoming-publication list of cozies and not many of the authors fit my missing letters. It's fun trying though. :)

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Updated my list and found a W author....

Front Page Fatality sounds interesting. Does her love of stilettos play a large role in the story? As a very unfashionable person (with a bad attitude toward high heels), I don't enjoy reading about the Manolos or whatever. I know I'm in the minority based on the popularity of fashion names in books :D

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) I wouldn't call it a large role, really. She makes references throughout the book about feeding her heels obsession on eBay, and a couple of references when she gets into tight spots about the unsuitability of said shoes. But I'd say it's only 15% max of the story line... I think. I'm not a fashionista by *any* stretch of the imagination (unless Levi's and Gap jeans are suddenly cutting edge) and it didn't feel at all over whelming to me.

I really enjoyed the book quite a bit - rated it 4 stars. :)

Good to hear! I'll have to check it out.

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Updated to add the "O" author, but had no luck with Q, U or Y. Will keep going with it through 2014 and see how I go.

I read Rosemary and Crime this year and thought it was funny. How did you like it?

It started out a bit slow for me, but by the end I was a fan. I really enjoyed it, overall, and I have the next book on my "to read" list already.
