I made my mom a birthday cake yesterday!!! It's kind of a tradition that something bad happens to the cake. It's not purposeful, but something always happens. This year, I tried to bake it w/ choc. chips. It kind of worked, but the chips all sunk to the bottom of the cake and the cake itself became all crumbly. Last year my sister and I wanted the cake to be layered w/ pale blue and pale purple. We expected the food coloring to fade in the oven, but it didn't, so we ended up w/ a bright blue and really bright purple cake. It looked like Trix yogurt. two years ago, my sister, a friend, and made a cake in a bundt pan 'cause we couldn't find a regular pan. Something weird happened, and the inside refused to cook. The outside was perfect, but even though we left the cake in for a long time, the inside would not cook. We ate it anyway...

And I made cheesecake last week!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
