Its at a stand still right now. The director dropped out and there isn't even a casting director. If it eventually does happen, it probably won't be for a while.
From acting auditions.org:"Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby were hired to do the rewrites, however Hardwicke has since dropped out of directing the project. The studio is searching for a replacement to direct the film."
No problem. I'm upset that its taking so long to make it. But then again, I'm not entirely sure if I want it to be made and ruin one of my favorite book series of all time
I know, that's the hard thing with movies. You never know.
I really hope there is a movie for the series!
