Skellig I just love this book. It has a very poetic quality to it, which I usually find insufferable. But in this instance I absolutely love it. I went into this book completely blind, had No Idea what it was about, or the intended age group or anything. The author was cited by J.K. Rowling as one of her influences, and that was all I knew. I would suggest you read it the same way - it heightened the unfolding of the tale to have no expectations.
