I Loved this book, though the ending had me in tears and gut renched! Do you think Pearl will confront Alexandre at his ex's house? I don't trust the ex or Sophie at all!

I hope they aren't back together. I dont trust her at all. I cant wait for the next book.

Pearls damn insecurities messed everything up! I was so sad that he refused to acknowledge her but I definately would like to see the ex get hers! Can't wait for the next book too!

Yeah, your're right. Peal totally messed everything up with all of her running. She just couldn't let go of her past....or never faced it head on. Do you think there's any chance she'll have the guts to knock on the ex-girlfriends door and confront him?

I agree the ending was heart wrenching. I seriously could not stop thinking about the ending. I think that Laura and Alex are not together but wants Pearl gone so played it that way. If he was so inlove with Pearl why would he go back to Laura so quickly. Doesn't make sense. Pearl has to communicate with Alex and work on herself. Hope book 3 gives them a HEA

Hey Erin. Yeah, I really hope so. The suspense is killing me though. There are no many characters involved that don't want them to be together, Laura, Sophie, Sophie's lover? What's the deal with Sophie's lover anyway? That all had to be a set-up, right? And what about her phone? It apparently was stolen with her purse after Alex dumped it? Too bad he could't have heard that nasty phone message from Laura.

Any idea when the 3rd book is out...anxiously waiting to see what happens!

Hello all! I'm sooo excited! I got an email from the author via her web site that said her book will be out this week! Here's what she said:

"I wanted to let you know that book 3, Shimmers of Pearl will be released on Amazon on the 16th Feb. When I upload the book it is Amazon who decides how long it takes to go live so it's impossible to say what time, exactly. If you haven't already, come join me on my facebook page where I will keep everyone up to date."

I think you are right about the set up. Now that I caught my breath after reading the ending and a little snippet from book 3, it sounds like she (Laura) is trying to win Alex back but not quite there yet. Perhaps he is "helping" her through her divorce - I can't see him sleeping with while she is getting divorced. He just doesn't strike me as a person who would do that since it's a little bit in bad taste, no? And ironically, I think Sophie will play a big part of them (Pearl & Alex) getting back together since I think she sees right through Laura and her gold digging ways. Can't wait for the conclusion!!

Also, since Pearl's bag went missing when Alexandre left it somewhere and it has a photograph of nude Sophie and Alexandra together, do you think it will come back to haunt Sophie? And even though Pearl's phone is missing, can she not still call it and save the message from Laura somehow so she can have it as an evidence of her being a deceitful biatch??

To think I was feeling sorry for Laura!!! She certainly knows how to play her cards!
