I know I won't be able to stick to a list, so I will make it up as I go along.

#5 Iran A Teaspoon of Earth and Sea read 17 Feb, 4 stars. I won this as an uncorrected proof copy. Highly recommend it, although it is too long IMO, hence 4 stars.
#7 Japan The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet read 24 Feb, 2 stars. I would have abandoned this one except for the descriptions of the Japanese landscapes etc.
Thanks Janice. I feel I have taken on too many reading challenges this year; around the world, around USA, 1001 books etc. All fun though..
#22 Ghana Ghana Must Go read 13 September, 4 stars. Written in a poetic style, I found this hard work and almost gave up. But it dragged me in, and I ended up really liking it.

Thank you!
