Not entirely off-topic. I'd like to visit some of the places I've been reading about. I'll bet I'm not alone. I thought it might be fun to have a thread for travel questions and advice.

I'll start: Has anybody been to San Marino? Is it pretty easy to get around once you're there?

I've been to San Marino a couple of times for dogshows. It's just like a part of Italy, nothing special.

It is tiny and like part of Italy as Vizara says, apart from the tax dodging advantages for the residents.
Will you have a car or are you asking about public transport?
