Hello readers and writers! Based on feedback, the moderators have decided to create a place to encourage authors to promote their work and interact with their fans.

If you are an author (as listed on goodreads), you may use this thread to publicize your work, local events, signings, etc. We would encourage authors to reward our members with giveaways and some "face" time with your readers.

If you want to read some of these exciting new books, feel free to enter author giveaways, but do them the favor of providing honest feedback and reviews.

We hope this provides the opportunity for authors and readers to connect!

Hello, I am an author of a children's/ middle ages series now available on Amazon. My 12 year old son and I collaborated heavily on this book to make sure it has everything kids love in it. Its the story of four friends who find themselves trapped on a tropical island in the Bermuda Triangle...and that's the least of their problems! Its available for .99 cents for a limited time. I would also be willing to send readers a free PDF copy in exchange for a review on Amazon. Thanks!

Hi, Maggy, I'm new here and trying to get my footing. your book sounds good and I'm going to check it out. I like writing coming of age ya novels. Jessup and the Teleporter is full of humor, tender, and emotional as Jessup wrestles with his parents' divorce, and being forced to decide between the two---and at the same time saving the world!! Try doing that all in one weekend! This fast paced-rocket novel will keep you up at night until you get to the break-neck ending!

It was nice meeting you, Maggie...sending a friend request

message 21: by Steve (new)

Steve Griffin Hi everyone, I've just placed my first YA novel, The City of Light, in a Kindle Countdown deal. From 12 - 19 February it's only 99c / 99p.

The City of Light follows the adventures of Lizzie Jones, who discovers a magical portal to the ancient Indian city of Kashi in her great-uncle’s elaborate ‘garden of rooms’ deep in the English countryside. Lizzie soon becomes embroiled in the search for a demonic killer, the Pisaca of Kashi, who she believes is using the portal to prey on Indian street children and evade capture.

'Loads of things to like about this book...a well-written mystery book, which could be enjoyed not only by 10-15 year olds but also by older readers... you get pulled into the fantastical world where multiple cultures are connected to one exotic garden in Herefordshire. Lizzie...is a lovely, smart voice. Rating 4/5' The Whimsy Bookworm

Kara Karnatzki | 6 comments Hi all,
I'm a YA book lover/reader and writer. I'm currently chasing reader reviews for my latest novel, RAIN IN MY HEART. It's a fast-paced thriller romance, set over 24 hours. Six teenagers trapped in a flooded school. Think Breakfast Club with danger. Intense emotions, fake friends, love-gone-bad, not 1 but 2 psychos, stacks of drama and plenty of twist. If you like the sound of it, you can get it on a kindle, £1.99 (less than a cup of coffee)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rain-In-Heart...
But if you DM me and promise a review I might send you a freebie!
Thanks thanks thanks!
Kara

Therese Pautz | 5 comments I'm using this time of lessened distractions and socializing to focus on finishing my second novel, which is in the YA genre. It's been awhile since my first book, Rain and Revelation, was published. If you, or anyone else you know, is looking for a book to read during this period of social distancing, I've just made the Kindle version free on Amazon through Monday, April 20th. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rain+and+r...
