I haven't watched it yet, but do tell me what you thought of it!

I saw it!
And really liked it. I decided Doctor Whale is an awesome character and I really want to see more of him. Sooo much happened in this episode.
WHY REGINA, WHY???? And I had such high hopes for her :(
Rumpel was awesome, and all the scenes with Belle were really sad. She's back to where she was during the 28 years in storybrook- not much more than a terrified, unkempt prisioner/patient.

Emma and Rumpel on a trip together! Totally awesome. Can't wait for the next episode. I want to meet Rumpel's son already!!!!!

Henry sucked, as usual, but Ruby was pretty awesome.

Ruby is usually awesome.. Gosh. I NEED TO WATCH IT. But, according to my calculations, I can't watch it until Thursday... (listening to Chinese Music and not understanding a word is frustrating). I have full class schedules in the morning and work all afternoon tomorrow and the day after. And I can only watch it on campus... Thus... Ugh. I might die waiting.

Lol. Yes, I did just watch it. It was awesome... ish. I see what you mean about Emma and Hook having good scenes. But, you know, it's so isolated. Come to think of it... Emma doesn't really ever have good lines. I'm pretty sure the one that she said to Hook when he was in the bed was only good line she's ever said.

On the other hand, Rumpelstiltskin is full of them.

The whole Rumpel and Cora thing? I'm really bothered by it. The Rumpel and Belle thing? Now that's really, really, really sad. But after reading many love stories about people who can't remember their significant other, I've found that patience really is the best method. I could kill Hook right now, too... only, *cough* I couldn't.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Rumpel is taking Emma out of town A) to help him find Bae because Emma knows the real world, and B) to help Cora and Regina have a clear path to Henry.

So? Rumpel? When you find Bae... Will you help Emma?

AS I said, Emma only ever has good scenes when she's with Hook :)

Of course Rumpel is full of them. He's awesome. Which is why I think it would be horrible if his son is Henry's father. Why should such an awesome character have to suffer such a stupid one [two stupid ones even] as family members???

The sad thing is, he doesn't see it that way because Emma is 'Main Character' so everyone sees her as 'the most amazing person ever'. Blech.

We knew there was a connection between Rumpel and Cora. I don't think it's anything romantic, not anymore at least, and not for a while [Rumpel help Regina get rid of Cora after all]. I can't wait for their story. It better be awesome.
Rumpel and Belle is very said. I wonder if they're planning on having them get back together or not. Either option could work, but knowing the writers of the show, true love will win through and Belle will be able to see the good in Rumpel again. They'd better not make it too cheesy.

Why would you want to kill Hook? He's awesome and good looking AND a pirate. Is there a more perfect combination than that?

I didn't think about it having anything to do with getting Emma out of town to help Cora. I hope it doesn't.

Of course Emma will help. She has to.

Ahhh. I personally think that Cora has this strange obsession with Regina, which could be equated to caring about Regina. I honestly believe that Cora has a misconceived understanding of hers and Regina's relationship. And that she's doing everything she can to put it back together. Personally, I think that if the person that killed your "one true love" and then made you marry a guy twice your age, came back and said they wanted to rebuild their relationship with you, it's highly unlikely you'll ever forgive them, even if they are your mother.

I guess the whole magic thing makes everyone's viewpoints a bit skewed.

On the other hand, I get the sense that Regina is using Cora. If Regina is truly detached from any emotions towards Cora (which is unlikely), it is very, very likely that Regina is simply going to manipulate Cora into helping her get Henry back.

Oh, and, of course Cora's planning something.

Cora is practically the ultimate Tiger Mom.... Lol. And they say Asian Mom's are bad.

Except that for some reason, Regina seems to be unaware of that, and seems to be pretty willing to build it up again.

I can't see Regina manupulating Cora. It just doesn't work...

I don't know... I don't think Regina is delibrately manipulating Cora. I think it's more like, when it comes down to chosing between Cora and Henry, Regina will always chose Henry. If, for some reason, Cora threatens Emma's safety, and Henry's perfectly aware of it, Regina will save Emma, no matter how much she hates her. Because the only way to have Henry is to allow him to be with his real mom a bit.

With that I agree. And Cora wont understand and wont see it coming because she doesn't get 'true love'...

Does Cora understand it? I'm super confused by that kiss she gave Rumpel...

Does anyone realize how old Rumpel is?!

He was normal when Milah left, then turned immortally magical around the Ogre Wars... Which is when Regina kidnapped Belle, right? Regina kidnapped Belle right after the Ogre Wars, which was the war that Rumpel ended to get Belle.

Wait. Do you see the inconsistency?

On one hand, we see that Rumpel gave Cora magic, then took Regina under his wing, which creates a span of about 20 years, if you ignore the chance that Cora went through a Teen Pregnancy.

On the other hand, Rumpel became immortal when Bae was a teenaged boy. Soon after, he lost Bae. You remember in that episode, Rumpel mentions to Bae that he ended the Ogre Wars.

In the episode with Belle, Rumpel has already lost Bae. Yet, in the beginning of the episode, Belle leaves as payment for the Ogre Wars Rumpel just ended.

Do you see?

Even if Cora and Rumple had something, i doubt it had to do with true love... Could the kiss be a hint that Rumpel is Regina's father? I know that there are some people who claim that the baby in the original Rumpelstiltskin was actually Rumpelstiltskin's...

I'm really really confused about Rumpel's timeline, and I feel like I don't remember enough from the other episodes to try amake sense of it. apart from that, the last episode really did confuse me. I'm still not sure when it is that Belle meets Dreamy. Whatever...

Ew, ew, ew, ew, ewwww. No. I don't think Regina could be Rumple's daughter. Did you see how protective and attached Rumpel was to Bae before Bae left for our world? Exactly. He was beyond Psychotic when he met Regina.
