So pasti hampir semua dah pergi ke BBW pada December 2012 dulu bukan? Kali ni BBW Aftermath pula. Any suggestions on books we should grab? Because BBW Aftermath is the sale where they sell the books left after BBW, so I guess you must've bought books that are worth buying or books that you've stumbled upon and very much recommended. I really like to prepare myself. :D

I so wanna but this time maybe i'm going to pass. Rumah saya jauh dari Seri Kembangan(this BBWA buat dkt situ kan), and there is transport problem.

masalah dgn firesale ni.... walaupun murah... banyak buku koyak and rosak. sedih je tgk

boleh sesiapa tolong recommend kan buku yang bagus-bagus untuk dibeli di BBWA ?

@Sayp, cubalah cari buku Looking For Alaska(John Green), Hector and the Search for Happiness(Francois Lelord), The Thirteenth Tale(Diane Setterfield) Punkzilla(Adam Rapp), Mockibgbird(Kathryn Erskine).

Saya tak tahu sama ada kamu dah baca ke blum buku2 tu atau kamu prefer English to Malay books, tapi buku2 yg sy rekomen tu ialah antara buku2 yg saya beli masa bbw thun lepas yg saya rasa sgt berbaloi utk dibeli.

InsyaAllah saya akan turun nanti. Kalau di BBW, boleh beli apa saja sebab murah. Belilah buku yang ada kaitan dengan bidang kita. Tentu tak rugi. Sebagai tambahan, Ensiklopedia juga menarik sebagai koleksi buku.

agak susah nak cari buku sebab buku banyak dah mixed up, especially general fiction.tapi worth it mencari sebab murah :)

fuhh, finally sampai jugak saya ke BBWA ni..

first impression: sedihnya tengok buku bersepah2 atas meja dan banyak buku yg terkemek, terkoyak dan macam-macam 'ter' lagi..tapi, nak buat macam mana kan..

overall, murah-murah buku kali ni. saya berjaya dapatkan 26 buah buku setelah beberapa jam berada di sana. oh, dan sebuah lagi buku saya beli di bookxcess bersebelahan dgn BBWA itu.

i chose for element of surprises for most of the books that i bought, i never heard of the titles nor the authors.

jadi, sesiapa yg tak pergi lagi tu, pergilah cepat-cepat! sgt berbaloi dan puas hati! (iklan percuma)

Saya baru pulang dari sana. Sangat pening kepala tengok bukuyang bersepah dan tak tau mana buku nk dipilih. Banyak buku yang dh rosak dan tajuk buku dan penulis juga takpasti. Hanya sempat sambar 10 buah buku saja. Kepala tak tahan pening entan kenapa.

saya pun rasa pening2 di BBW kali ni. Agaknya pasal 'lighting' kot. Gelap.

Buku memang bersepah-sepah. Buku undang-undang dan 'romance' di meja 'children'. Haha!

I was there this morning. Oh the books were in such a sad state. They were haphazardly placed so there were many that were torn, creased, losing dust jackets, placed in the wrong category, etc. but of course these were to be expected seeing it is the aftermath. I got 10 books, from authors I've never read. My husband got 4 books. We spent RM93. So it was okay. I got books from these authors: Charlaine Harris, Kim Edwards, Philip Roth, Jonathan Tropper, Isabel Allende, Joseph Connolly, Rebecca Wells, China Mieville and one Agatha Christie, someone I've read before. Sale ends tomorrow.

Sedihnya,buku-buku tu dibiarkan sebegitu sekali.

I'm not sure if I'm going this year's book sale. I really wanted to go but I want to save money for next year trip.
Last year I went there with my cousin. I really cringed when i saw kids with sticky fingers touching books while their parents pretend not to notice. I also saw some people eating and drinking while browsing for books. I am ok with drinking but please dispose that drink properly don't leave it on the books. Eating is just wrong. Not only u have messy hands, its also unhygienic to touch the books and leave your dirty prints .......i wish they monitor the sale properly but than again. I understand they are understaffed.

wish could go ... but too far. looks like have to plan for nxt year.

i went there just to buy 2-3 books but came back with 10 books. Why 10? because thats how much i could carry in my hand. any specific book should buy? hmmm, Larsson, Ludlums & George r Martin.
i didnt see any Dan Brown, so that was bummer.

It was my first time but it was worth it even one hour traffic jam.
