Will walked in.

Vanamo entered the servants' chambers, thinking that she wouldn't be noticed if she hid away. She was backing in slowly, not looking behind her when she suddenly bumped into something.

Will saw her. "Can I help you with something?" he asked.

Turning around, clutching a bag of things in her hands, Vanamo was flustered. She didn't expect anyone to be in the servants' quarters at this time of day. "N-no," she stuttered, unconvincing.

"Are you new? I don't think I've seen you before," Will said.

"No, I'm not new or anything. I'm not part of the staff," Vanamo answered before thinking.

"Oh, well, I don't think you're allowed here," Will said.

"I think so too," Vanamo said with a nod. "I just needed to stay in here a bit and I was planning on going somewhere else on my merry way."

"Ok, that should be ok as long as you're not a thief or anything," Will said.

"Wouldn't I be considered as 'anything'?" Vanamo had to ask, curious as to why the servant boy didn't have any strong reaction to her odd entrance.

"Um, I guess you would be considered a something, not an anything," Will grinned. "Unless you like to consider yourself that."

Vanamo smiled back. "No, I'm not an 'anything'. The 'something' I am is just an herbalist's apprentice, down in the village."

"Oh, that's cool," Will said. "What's your name?"

"Vanamo Perkins," she replied, holding her hand out.

"I'm Will Lackhand," Will said, taking her hand and shaking it.

She smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Will," Vanamo said, letting go of his hand and letting hers drop to her side.

"So... what was it you were needing here in the castle?" Will asked.

Vanamo gave a nervous smile. "I went to the garden to get some herbs my master wanted."

((lol running out of stuff... any ideas?))

((None at the moment... I really wish there was an overall plot... Anyways, um... Does Will have to do that magic test still?))

((do you have any ideas for an overall plot? and yes, Will's only 13, so he hasn't taken the test yet.))

((No ideas in particular... All of my charries are above the age for tests, though one is a Guardian and one other tricked the people to think he had magic... Hmm... You didn't plan to have Will be abducted, right?))

((No... but I can. I can also make the tests start if you want? Maybe something happens to where the king makes everybody take them? idk))

((Oh, right, yeah. I have a king charrie as well... Darn. Hmm... I'm an idea jam, so I need to take some time. Feel free to think up random stuff for our charries to do while we think up something.))

Since Will didn't seem alarmed at her not-so-legal taking of the herbs in the gardens, Vanamo relaxed. She gave him a smile and said, "Unfortunately, I should get going back to the apothecary."

"Do you need help with any of that?" Will asked.

((gonna be out of town Saturday-Sunday. won't be able to come online))

((Oh, okay. I'll try to think up of something.))

Shrugging, she answered, "Well, I might need help carrying the other basket of herbs."

"Okay," Will said, "I can help if you'd like." He took hold of the handle of the basket, supporting it with his stump of an arm and holding it with the other.

Vanamo shook her head making her wavy locks bounce slightly with the movement as she gave him a small smile. "Oh, no, that's not necessary. I mean, I'm sure you have other things to do and I probably should leave you to whatever it was you were doing." But he did seem nice and Vanamo couldn't help but feel even more guilt than usual that she was stealing herbs.

((Um, I have no idea what is going on. I mean, this was last year.))

Something seemed odd about this girl... "Say, what is it you were getting these herbs for anyway?" Will had often been told he trusted people too easily.

((Let's try a new storyline since I don't know the old one. ^^ Any ideas?))

"Oh, like I said earlier, I was gathering these for the apothecary. I'm, um, sorry." Her words at first started confident, then her voice dwindled as she ducked her head with shame and embarrassment. Looking up at him, she decided she would just tell the boy in front of her the truth. "All right. I was picking those herbs illegally since the apothecary lacks the herbs and we don't have the money to pay for particular ingredients."

((Okay lol :D so maybe like they somehow get caught up in a revolution against the king? Idk XD ))

((Maybe? I don't even really know much about my character. I feel like I want to start all over again. After this group, I went on to some advanced rp groups so I definitely feel like I can make a better character now.))

((Maybe... Do you just wanna like do a 1x1 and just redo the characters and stories and everything? Cause I've forgot a lot about wills character too lol))
