This is awesome news, I cannot wait!
That really was an awesome book, I gave it a 5 ! I rarely do that. I even e mailed Tracey and she emailed me right back. She is a lovely lady. Yay for number two!
As much as I look forward to reading the next book, I'm also thinking that there not be one. I mean, we read their story and saw them come together overcoming any and all obstacles, settling in a new home with children. To me that was a terrific end. Just an opinion.
I agree, it was a good book but I'm not sure if I want to read the rest of their lives. I think a similar book with new characters would be good. I don't know but I'll probably give it a try and see what happens when it comes out.
Exactly! While I love a great series, I don't think this one needs to continue. It ended on such a high note, I don't want to read about all the upcoming ups and downs they're going to endure. However, when all is said and done, I'm probably going to give it a read. I'll just wait a while after it comes out. I sometimes wish authors who have a successful novel just leave it at that - just the one book.
I agree with Diane, I LOVED the story, but I was quite satisfied with how the story concluded. I hate when a great story gets stretched out longer than it needs to be. But in all honesty even though I feel that way, I probably won't be able to resist it if a book 2 comes out.
I agree with Diane and S, On the Island seems like a really finished book, nothing to add. But maybe we miss something and the author will surprise us (in a good sense! :). Anyway, I will definitely be waiting for it and I'll give it a shot when it's available on Kindle.
Isle of Bones? I probably will read it because I did enjoy On the Island, but poor Ana and TJ. I guess they don't get their happily every after just yet.
Wait, what? A second book with Anna and T.J. as the main characters? Why? It ended perfectly. I need more info.
As much as I absolutely LOVED On The Island, I thought the first one ended perfectly. I'm not going to say I won't read the second one, but the first one won my heart from start to finish.
Like many of you I'm excited because I loved the book and the characters so much, but I agree it had such a perfect ending I don't know what a sequel will do!
Jeanie wrote: "Lets not be hasty!! Maybe it has something to do with the dot.com guy's bones they found?"Shit, you're probably right.
That is so exciting! I did LOVE the way the first book ended but I do enjoy your writing tooo....and the characters were awesome.
Well done, Jeanie and thank you, Tracy. It'll be nice to discover more about Mr. Dotcom, but TJ & Anna is where it's at. Fantastic characters.
You're welcome, Tony. And thank you for your kind words about Anna and T.J. But I agree with the posts here, because there isn't much I'd be able to do with their story as far as a sequel is concerned. They got their happily-ever-after. In this second book, which is a companion novella, you'll be able to see what Anna and T.J. have been up to since the epilogue ended. You'll meet their third baby. You'll spend some time with them. But you'll also find out what happened to Owen Sparks, the dot-com millionaire who was on the island before them.
I'll be revealing the cover, title, blurb, and first 550 (or so) words of the companion novella on my website this Friday, March 22nd. I'd love it if you all tuned in. :) www.traceygarvisgraves.com

I couldn't put it down, even after I finished it, I still wasn't ready to put it down. So I re read it. I can't wait to read more on T.J. and Anna. They stole my heart.
Tracey wrote: "Yay! I love your enthusiasm, Martha. Thank you. :)"No, thank you for giving us such an amazing story!!! You wrote it so beautifully. I know I keep saying this, but adored it!
wow i love on the island. it still tops my list. anyways i cant wait to read covet and isle of bones soon tracey. true tj and anna already have their hea so no need to add more of their story just maybe a glimpse of their future family. i bet the isle of bones is a tragic love story since owen is already bones and alone when they found them on the island. im looking forward to cry i guess:-(

Thank you, Tamol!! You'll get that glimpse of Anna and T.J.'s future family. Don't fret about Owen, though. He's not Bones. :) You'll see. xoxo
Tracey:When I saw your name on this thread I just wanted to personally thank you for writing "On the Island," such a wonderful book. I've had several of my friends read it also and they all love it. Is a movie still in the works?
Thank you, Judy!! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed On the Island. I don't have any movie news to pass along. Hollywood moves very s-l-o-w-l-y, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they move forward with the project. I would dearly love to see Anna and T.J.'s story on the big screen someday! :)
We would all love to see Anna and TJ on the screen as long as Hollywood sticks to your wonderful book and doesn't do their own creative writing.Tracey wrote: "Thank you, Judy!! " Hey everyone! For those of you who miss Anna and T.J., you'll get to see them again (and Ben, too!) in the upcoming Isle of Bones. I'll post more information (and a teaser) as we get closer to the publication date this spring. This is an eSpecial (similar to a Kindle single), and you'll be able to read the first chapter of Covet at the end."
