Margaret | 21 comments I'm a little late with this, but here goes! I've been meaning to read some old Canadian classics and decided to integrate them into this list. I hope I'll be able to find all of them.

Ontario: Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town and/or Such Is My Beloved

Northwest Territories: Lost in the Barrens

Saskatchewan: Who Has Seen the Wind

Manitoba: Settlers of the Marsh

Quebec: The Tin Flute (The author of this book was born in Manitoba and spent many years there.

British Columbia: The Cure For Death By Lightning

Alberta: The Whoop-Up Trail (This is a publication of the Lethbridge Historical Society, might be hard to find)

New Brunswick:The Nine Lives of Charlotte Taylor

Nova Scotia:Barometer Rising and/or Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion and the Road to Recovery

Prince Edward Island:Anne of Avonlea

Newfoundland-Labrador:Left on Labrador; Or, The Cruise of the Schooner-Yacht

Nunavut:The Terror

Yukon:The Call of the Wild and/or The Best of Robert Service

Connie G (connie_g) Good luck with your list, Margaret. I'm not familiar with Robert Service, but I see my library has a book with his poems, "The shooting of Dan McGrew" and "The Cremation of Sam McGee" that sounds interesting.

Janice (jamasc) Nice list, Margaret. Shattered City would be an interesting read.

Margaret | 21 comments I've been reading The Imposter Bride and have decided to use it as my Quebec book instead of The Tin Flute.
