"I don't have a favourite book, I have hundreds!" ;)
Well that's the thing every book has there own way of being my favorite. TFIOS is my favorite book by a male author wile all his other books come in a very close second all the Harry Potter books are my favorite series closely followed by Anne of Green Gables series. And I could go on telling you that Anne of Green Gables is my favorite series by a dead author. And why this book is the best at this (all my opinion of course), so ya...
Anne of Green Gables was awesome! What I remember of it at least... I read it a long time ago, there's been a lot of books since I read that, it's really good though, I agree on that. I've never understood the "war" with Harry Potter and Twilight... I mean they're two different genres! How could you compare them? It's like comparing an apple and a pear. Just a terrible idea.
I think the war started when someone said Twilight was like the new Harry Potter and Potterheads just blew up because they realized early that Twilight was the lamest excuse for a book ever. (If you don't agree. I pity you. Go watch 'Alex Day Reads Twilight' on Youtube.)
"if I dont agree"? umm... I'm allowed my own opinion on a book... Everyone is.... If you don't like it then it's not your type of book... If it speaks to someone I'm not gonna challenge them on it. Nor should you. Not trying to offend you just simply defending fellow readers (because if someone reads thats a little less world suck, right?)
Yay, I'm made of awesome.
Anyway one of my favourite book/s is Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I have this thing for crime/mystery novels. I love trying to guess the culprit, only to be proven wrong. I love how they always piece together the crime, which seems so obvious at the end but completely deluded you at the start.
It's a shame really that people my age, my age being 15, don't read such great works of literature as Sherlock Holmes. I am not saying that NO 15 year-olds have read Sherlock Holmes, more like, not much people will be willing to read Sherlock Holmes: the complete collection, which is 1408 pages long.
Anyway, Sherlock Holmes is just one of the MANY books I love.

Mister Pip by good old Lloyd Jones. One of those books you have to put down every so often and go "I can't even-" Go read my review of it if you like :)
I don't have one absolute favourite book but if I had to choose a favourite of my favourites it would probably be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
The Fault in Our Stars (I own three copies of this book), Harry Potter, and The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
I am going to skip TFIOS because it's an obvious one. "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy, "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut (which I read because of "Looking for Alaska") and "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein which I finished just a couple of days ago
So far: TFIOS, Great Gatsby, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Plague and lots and lots of other books and probably lots of books waiting on my list :)
The Great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, Ella Enchanted, Holes, TFIOS... But #1 is I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak.
I love TFIOS of course. It's like the best book ever, at least for me. But I also like An Abundance of Katherines and Shatter Me. :3
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. SalingerThe Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Inkspell by Cornelia Funke
Chaos Walking Series by Patrick Ness
TFIOS obviously, Paper Towns, The Harry Potter books, Les Miserables, Sophie's World... And I'm currently reading Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay and even though I haven't finished yet, I can safely say it's going to be one of my favourites :) DFTBA, nerdfighters !
vampire high, it was the first vampire book i read, and is so different then any other book i have ever read.
On the Road by Jack KarouacIt's artsy, insane and just the level of poetic crap I totally adore. It's been my favorite book for three years.
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.
Also, The Giver, because, The Giver.
Also, The Giver, because, The Giver.
This might sound cliché but.. TFIOS. I honestly cannot stop reading that book. I've never been so emotionally attached to a book and I still can't get over it.

I think another part of it is that(ONLY CLICK IF YOU HAVE READ TFIOS ---->) (view spoiler) Also, IT'S NOT CLICHE YOU GO GIRL YOU LIKE WHATEVER BOOKS YOU LIKE AND DON'T LET ANYONE'S SILLY OPINION STAND IN THE WAY OF THAT!
I don't have one favourite but Slated, Rebecca, The Hunger Games, The Fault In Our Stars and Vampire Academy are in my top ten.
First, there is the book thief by Markus zusak. Next, there is the Harry potter books. Closely behind is tfios. Next is Prisoner B-3087.
My favorite book this year is The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.Books that have really stuck with me are The Book Thief, City of Thieves, and Pride & Prejudice. Books with original plot lines and/or stunning language.
I don't have a favorite book. Not every book is the same, they each have their own significance, which makes them all my favorite
The Book Thief - Markus ZusakThe Perks of being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
Paper Towns and TFIOS - John Green
Favorite series would be Harry Potter,The Wheel of Time, LOTR, Hannibal Lecter series, Matthew Shardlake series and The Millennium Trilogy. I also like The Once and Future King, The Name of the Rose, Shadow Lines and The Catcher in the Rye.
The Time of Our Singing by Richard Powers, a masterly book on race, family, love, time and space.
...and the Sherlock Holmes stories of course!
The Penderwicks (first one). It's just a super innocent and sweet story about a father and his 4 young daughters going on vacation and the girls secretly get into all this mischief with the boys who live near the vacation home.
Favorite of all time is definitely Mockingjay by a very slim margin. But I love so many books that it's hard to pick a second, third, fourth, anything.
It's one of those books that you just want to keep to yourself...even though it's mad famous, no one around seems to know that much about it...This Side of Paradise.
Angelas Ashes - Frank McCourtThe Catcher in the Rye - J. D. Salinger
Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling (the whole series, of course)
And there's this book quite well known in Latin America called "My Sweet Orange Tree" by José Mauro de Vasconcelos, a Brazilian author, which I read when I was around 13 and loved so so much. I should re-read it.
Each book I read its amazing in its own way. But a few of the ones that stood out the most areLooking for Alaska- John Green
Of Mice and Men- John Steinbeck
The Outsiders- S.E. Hinton
Lord of the Flies- William Golding
The Catcher in the Rye- J.D. Salinger
I think Of Mice and Men is my favorite
