Well first, I was expecting that this would be a creepy, horror story because of the cover. But it was completely different. A bit odd, but interesting.

There was a huge shift of the story so I guess that's where the readers started to either be displeased with it or be adored with it. In my case, the latter. I was very intrigued by what will happen next so I was honestly hooked until the end. I loved the idea of the vintage photographs because it made me visualize more about the peculiarity of the characters and the events as well. It also added a uncanny touch to the story.

If you're looking for a unique read, I would probably recommend this. Though I must say that the ending of this book would leave you hanging and waiting for the next sequel to come.

That's a good choice! I have read that the sequel would come out June '13 anyways. Let me know what you think when you've it already (: I've finished a couple of series books but I always get bored during the 2nd or 3rd book though.

Vikram Seth is one of my favourite authors, and "A Suitable Boy" was a great book. Good choices!
