I agree with you, while I loved Warm Bodies and what it does to Zombie lore, I'm not sure there is a need for a sequel. Not that I don't want to read more about R,Julie and Nora, it's just that the book came to natural, if indefinite close. However, I trust Isaac Marion, his writing style as lovely to read, I only hope the book does not fall victim to the consumer base the film is trying to build up.
I'll definitely read it but i don't have high hopes for a sequel for a book where there's not really any other interesting stories dying to be told (regardless of what the author said in that interview). With Vampire Academy at least there was characters to fill out I get that.. Even The Matrix and Terminator 2 and 3 were all finalized stories that every lame at the theatres didn't realize finished and I knew they would go forth and make more.. this however.. this just didn't feel like there was any room.I don't have high hopes.. but I'm fallible. I've been wrong before and I hope I'm wrong on this.
