Co-Author Kills himself over the accusations. How sad.

...in light of the class action suit against Lance Armstrongs books, i saw that the co-author of "Three Cups of Tea" killed himself because of the humilation caused by similar accusations (true or false). his co-author, the actual star of the book seem to care less but this guy who seems to have done most of the work and gotten none of the glory takes his life. does anyone else think its sad?!

Yes, it is. I thought the book was particularly well-written, showcasing the writing style of a particularly gifted writer. I will be sure to read his next book which comes out next month.

absolutely agree, part of the success of the book was readability of the book for which he seemed to get no credit. and yea, Mortensen seems very full

That's so sad. It was a great book, any way you cut it, if you ask me.
I agree, although I wouldn't say Messianic complex, I think Greg looks "other worldly". His early years in Africa informed who he is, I believe, also maybe he's just different from the norm.
