Hena Hameed (henah) | 10 comments Hey all,

I only recently found out that Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane was adapted into an award-winning French graphic novel by Christian De Metter in 2009. Tokyopop later acquired the rights to further publish an english translation (with additional artists credited). I'd like to mark it as "want-to-read" but it's combined with the original novel which is already on my "read" shelf.

The graphic novel adaptations should be separated from the novel and that seems to be the general consensus over here. So I went ahead and separated them but then hastily back-tracked when I saw a super-librarian had left a note on it which simply said 'graphic novel'. I don't know what to make of this so I just recombined them back to how they were, because I don't necessarily want to mess up a book that has already been reviewed by a super-librarian.

Could a super-librarian please re-check whether this particular graphic novel should remain combined or indeed be separated? Thanks!
