Twilight Eyes discussion

I'm about half-way through Twilight Eyes it seems like the central character, Slim MacKenzie, is a precursor to Odd Thomas. Anyone else have this sense?

The Jim Ironside novel is called Cold Fire.

This book freaked me out, I saw him as a paronoid schizophrenic more than someone who truly saw deamons and he went around killing innocent people.

Tialisa, there were points when I also wondered if Slim was delusional. Koontz was on a fine line with this character for the first while, but when the history of the "goblins" was revealed, then I felt relieved.
